I saw that '84 when I searched the state earlier but I figured that'd fall under "project car, keep moving" status.

So there's this Miata that's looks pretty good aside from clear peeling: http://bham.craigslist.org/cto/5380622666.html
Then this one makes me cry because they decided sanding it down and then not painting it afterwards was a good idea: http://huntsville.craigslist.org/cto/5370045881.html The last one is a M-Edition, why they sanded it down I have no idea as you can't tell me it looked worse than what it does now... If someone would ever buy the freaking Firebird I'd go after the '93. -------------------- 2001 Miata LS 5-speed

Yesterday my brother bought a Impreza L coupe. It's not a 2.5 but it is a 5 speed with awd so that makes things easier. Eventually it'll look it's suppose to.

Hopefully have the engine it's supposed to as well. Impreza coupe is another I'd like, but Subarus are nonexistent as it is around here much less it.

gave the body shop the green light on the paint color, so the paint material should be arriving some time next week for them to start spraying.

My racecar runs again after a snafu. Pick up coil went dead. I flooded the engine. The cork intake gasket absorbed the leak and messed up. Huge vacuum leak. Was running like crap.
I tested my new air lines yesterday... Redid the listing yet again and spelled it out for everyone on what I'll trade for, probably won't have anyone contacting me now but they were just wasting my time otherwise. Supposedly the one with the Accord still wants it but it'll be next month before it's finally paid off, so 4 months after initially contacting me? Maybe it's a sign I'm meant to own an '01 Accord.

Was offered a '91 Mustang liftback with the 5-speed, but it would be the non-turbo four cylinder. Looks to be in really good shape, but from some quick looking swapping to the V8 is fairly involved and requires replacing all of the drivetrain and K-member along with most of the brakes and suspension to do it right. I don't think I'd be able to sell it unless someone was just damned and determined to swap one for whatever reason. Sigh...

Why swap V8 when you can add a turbo? A turbo on the 4 will net you more power than that years V8 made and pound for pound you'd have a faster car if you go with aftermarket stuff. The EECIV is totally cracked and programmable now so you have a stand alone ECM right there too!

Because the whole point of owning a domestic heap is magical V8 noises that drown out the rattling and squeaking as it's falling apart. I'll have to research into it but I'd be willing to bet the SVO Mustang got the GT's transmission & rear end, suspension, and brakes etc... or at least parts of equivocal strength and performance.

My kind of beach. Had someone offer a '77 F100 and a Remington tactical shotgun today, if that doesn't sum up my issues trying to sell/trade it I don't know what else does.

Heh, the black '93 Miata is still around and is now wanting to trade. I'm not going to hold my breath, but it doesn't hurt to ask I guess. I'd even add money to cover another TH350...
