Soooo found a few semi-local cars I'd be interested in immediately:

1994 Celica GT in Turqoise Pearl: http://huntsville.craigslist.org/cto/5408131708.html
1998 Celica GT in black: http://gadsden.craigslist.org/cto/5417392907.html
1984 Celica in panda: http://shoals.craigslist.org/cto/5408662957.html
1987 RX-7 in red...: http://huntsville.craigslist.org/cto/5390417595.html
1991 Miata BRG?: http://bham.craigslist.org/cto/5428733605.html
2002 Mustang GT in white: http://bham.craigslist.org/cto/5433614779.html

The Miata confuses me as the only green cars were the British Racing Green edition and they all had the tan leather interior, so either it's a respray or someone took the time to swap the interior. I also find it funny that both Celicas have the '97 ST 25th anniversary seats.

Ye it's a really unique color, after searching it's Turquoise Pearl. Only Baltic Blue and Bright Iris Pearl I'd like more. If I could get it at $2,500 and everything checks out that'd be fair enough.

After looking again I think that '98 is a '97 25th Anniversary, I think that's the badge on the fender.

That is an AMAZING color on the Supra. I can't wait to see it out in the sunshine!

My Mazda 626 is a rare color, only 2 years of it ever came with the color.

Ye after looking into it Turqoise Pearl was '94 only, I'm honestly tempted though I'm not wild on the choice of rims. Maybe still has the original rims. Also looking into the Miata it appears it might be like one of the first ten BRG Miatas made based on the VIN, I prefer black interior but it'd be a shame if it's such a low number BRG car.

The teal looks nice and has fairly low miles for 20yo. It's a matter of what kind of maintenance he's done to the motor, transaxle, struts, ect. Or has he just been polishing it. The body and paint do look nice.

Interior seemed decent enough as well, just needs some steam cleaning and detailing. I don't know, but it'll probably be it or a Miata as I'm already familiar with both and know where all the common issues are. I'd like to try a 240SX liftback or the SW20 MR2, but they're just as hard to find as a manual F-body. Then the Mustang the clutch still poses an issue unless I want to spend some $700 on a hydraulic conversion kit. Side note wasn't able sleep either...

Was a cash transaction, ended up getting $2,000 back from it. Lost a few hundred on it, but selling the Miata a few hundred over buyback somewhat neutralizes it. Which the only car I was wanting to trade for was that Accord and would have to spend a few hundred to get it sorted to maybe get $2,500 out of it and then all the extra time etcetera. It's going to a good home though, apparently he already had arranged to do a 700R4 conversion to it and said would send pictures as it progressed. I'm not entirely sure as to what I want, I do know it'll have a manual transmission though.

Ye it's still mind boggling to me as to how much interest that car pulled over the last few months and it took until yesterday for someone to be serious and buy it. Kind of leaning towards another Miata if I can't find a decent fourth gen, that and if the Mustang still isn't a viable option due to the clutch. I would like a S13 240SX liftback as it'd be rear wheel drive and remotely useable as a car, but finding one that's still mostly original is near impossible apparently.

Yesterday, I finally picked up her carcass from Imperial and took her down the street to my friend's house.

Painters are touching up the edges to make sure everything is minty mint.

Done and waiting for AAA to come pick her up.

and up she goes!

my boy Robert driving her up the truck

straddled down and ready to go!
