bars? lol.

I would love to take my celi to the track, for HPDE, but they wont allow it. No bars. its a convertible. Im thinking of doing a temporary roll bar, removable.

rear strut/harness/floor bar make it look all fancy haha.

Yeah for a vert just Fab up a removable roll bar. Im not sure of the best design or where the mounting points would be

knocked out the battery relocation on Saturday. It was literally an 8am to 5pm job haha
Started the car this afternoon and it cranks over faster than the stock location!

I picked up a hydraulic crimper and BOY is that thing handy

finished off with some glue lined heatshrink

master cut off

since I dont have any important things going on behind the front seats I didnt find it necessary to tuck the cable much

I quickly came to the realization that quick solder terminals are THE WORST

cool wires I got to use

next weekend is going to be spent making a small relay panel that I will mount in the glovebox....and after that...racepak smile.gif

Nice install, is the master cut off just to save the battery when not in use?

Very cool. But that opposition to flow though. Is that gauge of wire thinner than standard thickness? That way you can gets all your necessary power to components?

I dont follow?
Its 1AWG and standard is 8AWG to the Starter and I think 4AWG to the Alternator. It seemed like plenty to power the accessories but I have the majority of them unhooked at the moment. I am going to check everything under a more full amp draw this weekend and see how it handles it.

What are those boxes with the dashes in them? Accessory input. And switches with connection from each side. Trying to understand, but confused

Relays, I am only using two at the moment and the horn is wired at the relay a bit differently than what is pictured
This powers and grounds the majority of my aftermarket electronics now, NO more birds nests in the footwell!!
I didnt have the right thickness plastic sheeting so since it was going to be hidden I jsut stacked 2 sheets and riveted it around the perimeter, its wavy but it holds

I solder all my terminal connections, I hate these things and they never hold when I crimp them

also got my tires removed from the RE's. Going to weigh them individually, i think those Falkens weigh ALOT

Usually a higher performance tire will weigh more with reinforcement in the side walls. The Falkens I had although 18s weighed in around 3lbs heavier per tire with the same width as the new rivals. I will say those Falkens look properly fast without even moving haha!

Ill be putting them back on. A couple of them were a pain to get off. My buddy was saying to just ditch them and grab some R888's. But I dont waste the money if there is still a summers tread on the Falkens left

Yeah but (we didnt test it first hand) when we took the tires off they just felt much heavier than some of the other brands of around the same size. I dont recall my RE71Rs weighing that much (they are 20mm thinner width though)

Oh well, anyways everything is ready to go, just sitting....waiting for the Racepak to ship out to me. Thats the last thing I have to do, with the hardest part of the the install being how to mount it. Hopefully it will only take me a weekend
Wheels will be painted probably the first week of April.
All battery and electronic work is finished.
Here is a shot of everything now in the original battery location

started to figure out the wiring for the Racepak along with beginning to fashion the mount and surround for the unit
The LEDs on the side will be for the CEL, Open Door, Fuel Light and a spare

mounted the gramlights to pull the car out, the 5x114.3 to 5x100 adapters fit well!

still have a great bead after 7 months without a wash!

weighed the RE30's bare on my parents old timey medical scale
