Oglesby & Peru are both around there. Although I would suggest booking something closer to Chicago since we usually cruise into town after the meet and you will miss out on lots of hooning and mischief. unless you don't mind the ride back that way after.

You all scare me hanging out of windows and ****, giving me some heart palpitations.

Utica is the town at the park, Joliet is about 1/2 way between the park and Chicago and has many hotels, some nice and some not. Lots of Casino's so if you like that stuff then get a room there I guess. Any Holiday Inn would be fine though, they're pretty much all halfway decent, just be leery of smaller local hotels. The quickest way to check a hotel around Chicago is to ask if they have short nap rooms or by the hour rooms. If they do then just hang up.

I will be coming. My father will also be coming in his Polaris Slingshot. It'll be something different for people to see.

Edit:

Here's a video of the exhaust note... He's done a lot of little things to it, but as for performance, he's just done exhaust and intake.

Just south of the Chicago suburbs, roughly an hour. We meet near Ottawa IL.
