Curren tails, and a carbon fiber TRD Coupe spoiler added.
Found a guy on craigslist selling all of his aftermarket parts for his Celica, luckily we had white celicas, we just swapped trunk lids. Curren tails are just a bolt-on of course. This post has been edited by match220: Mar 24, 2015 - 3:34 PM -------------------- -Jay

Found this little gen in a junkyard here....suuuuper rare!!!
old vs new!! missing the back two buttons though..I could REAALLLLYY use some back buttons. http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c380/mat...zpsc8coo7ny.jpg I split the wiring for the back buttons so they are now two separate buttons instead of doing the same thing. -------------------- -Jay

Good to see I'm not the only one playing around with the shifter buttons.

Good to see I'm not the only one playing around with the shifter buttons. what are you using them for? I'm trying to figure out a use for the back two (once I find some to put back where they were taken I'm using mine as volume controls for the radio. Since I have a '98 that already had a three post wheel, it was almost plug and play. I swapped my clockspring to an IS300 clockspring, everything plugged right up, and all I had to do was run one additional wire from the clockspring to the radio. I wasn't able to split the buttons like you did with my setup since every pin on my clockspring is in use, otherwise I'd have seek/track buttons on the right side of my wheel and volume on the left. -------------------- "Employ your time in improving yourself by other men's writings, so that you shall gain easily what others labored hard for." -Socrates. Ah, volume controls would work nicely. Is there any particular reason why you upgraded to the is300 clockspring? -------------------- -Jay

Just to have the extra two pins running through the clockspring. My stock clockspring was blank where the two extra wires run through. It was plug and play for my '98 but if I recall correctly, the 94-97's need modification to make the IS clockspring work, but I really don't remember. I think I saw on Facebook that you are setting yours up for something much cooler than volume controls, right?

And one of the back will be a starter assist for anti theft. Not sure what to make the other back button yet.. Well, once I actually find back buttons. I fully support your chosen uses for the buttons! I'm surprised there aren't some on eBay from trashed steering wheels with good buttons.

Most of these wheels went to australia in the 7gc. I'm even on an aussy parts swap facebook page and no one seems to have them. -------------------- -Jay
