There's a lowered 6th gen GT that parks near my work every day. I put a note on the windshield hoping to find another 6th gen to join us. Haven't heard anything back yet. I put this website on here as well. We'll see...

I think that was my car. Just joined today. Where and when is the meet?

That should be the where. When is May7th around noon. If you're not sure how to get there I'm meeting someone in a blue BRZ in Joliet to cruise some of the back roads to the meet, the longer but more scenic way, you're welcome to tag alone. I never seem to take the same route twice but always get to the meet. I think that's the only place in the world my sense of direction actually works!

Glad to see my note got to you. I work about 100 yards north of where you park your car. You're welcome to tag along with me. I'm hoping that we get a couple of 7th gens to join us. I don't own a Celica any longer, FYI. It's a great time and great people.

Racecarp hydrolocked his 7th gen a few days ago. :c

He has a new Corolla engine in and he's back in action! Just a little update. He just sent me picture of the bent connecting rod. My dad always told me that you can compress air, but you can't compress water. Haha!

Yea, he called me with some weird problems he's having. P0300 and running a little rough and one connector he can't find where it goes.

3rd or 4th engine now? I don't know why he doesn't just run a short intake or get a bypass valve to at least minimize the chance of pulling up water.

Hello All: I am relatively new to the forum compared to many of you so the following idea may have been discussed before.

Do you all have considered the idea of having spring meet at different locations within the Mid West?

Secondly, I second Norberto's idea of same time every year so everyone has it on their calendar.

My two cents.

I'm open to driving a little further but much more than 2 hours away gets to be tiresome for driving back home and finding somewhere we can all eat that's not a long drive in the wrong direction for a bunch of people is hard.

It's different when you have someone in the car with you, driving solo for long distances just wipes me out mentally.
