im looking for a cheap fiberglass bumper in ebay, with decent fitment, and wondering if there are any experiences out there with sellers.

My past experience with fiberglass body panels left a lot to be desired as far as fitment went. The seams where the side of the hood and fenders met was wavy along with the front bumper being recessed away from the headlights so much that the headlight seals didn't even touch the bumper. As far as the one you posted in the link i have no experience with that company or brand, just speaking from my past encounters.

reason i was looking into a cheap bumper is because i would like to take the celi to the track, and be able to swap the front bumper. Im not risking my current bumper. so i would not be worried it fits perfect, as long as there is some fitment.

Yes it would make a good track bumper. Are you worried about stone chips?

I remember a post on here a long time ago about that exact bumper. Guy ordered it and fitment was horrible. Looked like putting an integra bumper into a 6gc. I'll see if I can find the post.

not for the celi, but when I ordered a fibreglass bumper for a different car, (not in relation to this company)
fitment was horrible, stone chips were very evident after a while and one incident with a parking curb, it snapped in half

Oh and it came just as a mould, no mounting holes or anything to line up with to screw/bolt in, so had to get a second bumper from a junkyard (because I didn't want to destroy the original) and hack it up and cut out all the mounting points and integrate to the fibreglass mould

I don't see why don't you just get an ABS OEM one. Cheap, strong, perfect fitment obviously.

Why not just go buy an oem bumper at Certi-Fit? Just a few bolts will hold it and it'll save you some dough 👊

I wanted fiberglass so i could seal the headlights with fiberglass. I wanted so i have option to track the car. In case of wreck i save trd bumper and the jdm projectors

Trying to contact rt-performance

Rt is based in UK, you will pay more for shipping than the bumper itself. Get OEM, then plastic weld some covers over the headlights.

If you are taking off the bumper you might as well take off/replace the headlights as well. The bumper won't save them in a front end collision.

Hats the goal. A fake bumper no headlights.

The kid I got the yellow celica from. Had this bumper
And it didn't fit at all
Like it was an inch narrower than the car.
There's pics of it on here somewhere

The more reasons to contact rt performance. I rather pay a bit more for something that will fit good and look good.

I don't get why you still want fiberglass, you will pay 500 instead of 50 for an OEM plastic one that will fit perfectly...
