Easier said than done when I have the social skills of a potato. I'm not sure where else would work well for a Midwest meet, Quad cities area maybe? I'm sure there's some nice stuff along the river out that way. Other way there's some nice state parks around Indy I think, but I65 is such a ****hole of a road I don't think I'd take the Celica.

Not everyone has a truck that you just point in the direction of your destination and then take a nap in the seat.

Dells are a hotel night probably and that's usually outside my budget, part of the reason why I like something that's around a 2 hour one way drive. I are cheap, gotta spend the money on the car!

We had a 7th gen meet there a few years ago and it was SO much fun. We made a weekend out of it. We had a guy drive 17 hours from Canada. Haha! -------------------- 2000 GT-S 6 SPD... SOLD! |

If you're talking about auto motion in the dell's I would suggest against it. Over crowded, too many cops, and too many poor decisions made by everyone.
How about that snow date lol -------------------- It takes 8,460 bolts to assemble an automobile, and one nut to scatter it all over the road.

I'm down for a Wisconsin meet... And no, not Automotion. That IS when we went, but the vibe there was too crazy for my liking. It was a great experience, but I wouldn't go again. There's just stuff to do up there...

Honest question... is there any people wanting shifter or ebrake boots made? I have one order already to bring to the meet. If so let me know and what color and I will get them made up

So now he IS coming? Awesome. He told me he is. He's not sure if he's going to bring his bike or the race car. On a side note everyone: I have a job for you... Diagnose my 2004 Corolla S. The car has my dad (one of the most knowledgeable car people I know) and myself scratching our heads. I have another bad wheel bearing. This is the FOURTH bad wheel bearing that we've gone through in about 2 years. The same wheel too, the front driver's side. We replaced the hub two wheel bearings ago, so that's not the issue. I've owned the car longer than two years. We thought outside the box and checked the ground from the engine/trans to the body to make sure that wasn't faulty (which one of them was). We replaced the trans to the body. I know that a bad ground can cause wheel bearings to fail because the current has to travel from the engine, through the axle, through the bearing (arcing across balls), through hub, up strut to body... Anyways... I don't know what it could be. The transmission has always been "louder" than normal. I know the car was in a front passenger side collision at one point in its life, but not sure how hard. I don't know if a bad bearing or something in the trans would cause a bearing to vibrate enough to fail constantly... I use nice Moog bearings. I thought about putting a pricey OEM one in, but my dad said he's never seen a car eat bearings like this. Thoughts?? Edit: I'm also torquing down the hub nut to spec.
