I'll see how they are in the wet. It's supposed to rain here in the next couple of days. It was a toss-up between these, the Bridgestone RE760s, and the BFGoodrich G-Force Sport Comp 2s. The comparison charts on TireRack made the decision a lot easier. I was going to consider the Nitto NT555, but there wasn't really a way to compare those to the other choices except by pricing. Either way, these are soooo much better than the Nexen N3000 I had on before.

I've had the bridgstones RE760s on my celi and my matrix and they've been awesome. been wondering if I should switch it up and try something else too seeing as I need to get tires for my 7th gen rims.

The Sport Comp 2's are a good tire, but they're stupid noisy. My brother has them on his Genesis and between around 35-50 mph there's this rotational drone that's fairly loud, but he has a sound system that drowns it out easily enough so it doesn't really bother him. Me on the other hand I don't like having music loud while driving so I'd go insane. There was something about the RE760's I had read about I didn't like, but it eludes me at the moment.

Scratch that, it was the Sumitomo HTR's I was thinking about.

I'd go for the LS430. Owning a supra is great. Supra ownership, is meh.

Im leaning towards a ls430, extra play money to have with the car, looked at the ls460l and wasnt too pleased with it. I love how large the back seat is, but 9/10 ill be driving so i will not get to enjoy it. Driving the ls430 felt tighter imo.

Yeah, if I ever HAD to get an automatic sedan it'd most likely be a Lexus GS. Though I don't foresee that ever happening.

Filled the shift knob with .177 lead beebees and plastic epoxy, went from 105 grams to 155 grams. Had I hollowed it out more than what had been done for the thread insert I could've made it even heavier, but really didn't feel like potentially botching it and I'm happy with what was added.

Mmmmm torques... Makes me wonder how much an used Cadillac CTS-V is these days though. Which you could always do a W58 or V160 conversion behind the UZ I spose.

They make adaptor plates. a buddy of mine in Oklahoma has a W58 bolted to his 1UZ in his SC-Fo-Hunnid. He says it's a pretty fun combo.

I think the first gen CTS-Vs are in the mid to upper teens while the 2nd gens are still holding pretty good value especially the wagons.
