Sounds about right.

Well it seems like the Plasti Dip will turn out nicely, had I only bought two cans... What I get for second guessing my instincts and trusting what it said on the can. I maybe got two normal coats out of it, since the first one I did light and the second was a medium coat so it'd grab better with the third getting heavier. Will just have to let it dry overnight and finish tomorrow.

I was just using the Plasti Dip since it'd be easy to apply and look decent enough as I'm tired of screwing with it. That's ok I should've known it wouldn't make it back out without cracking more and planned accordingly, what I get for being so optimistic... I'm going to keep an eye out for a '97-99 dash since it's still the same colour but I can use a new '97-02 ABS replacement pad versus having to use a crappy old stock GM pad...

just fill the cracks and reupholster is in leather/vinyl.

It's not coming back out unless it's for a new one to take its place, I'm done screwing with it. The Plasti Dip would've turned out ok had I done it right, but I made the mistake of using it like paint apparently.

Meh, on the bright side at least it doesn't glare into the windshield. Pun intended.

It might just turn to dust if you try to take it back out.

Drove a new Miata today. It was fun. Don't know if I would buy one. The more stuff I drive the more content I get with my current line up. I'm also getting incredibly picky as to what I like

Exactly, will just keep causing more problems by trying to do anything else with it. At this point the only thing to do is just buy a new one, but I'm not going to spend $500 on a piece of crappy GM old stock plastic that'll do the same thing eventually.
