When I have the time I am going to go ahead and take down the insulation. I want to replace it with a adhesive type pad just for the sake of the concern about extra heat to the hood/paint issue. Really only going to focus on the center of the hood anyway for now. What recommendations do others have, or is my best best Damplifier? Want as thin as possible to detract from anything being a lure for the darn mice again. Thanks again everybody.

DEI's products are pretty good for heat insulation

The most notable difference is in winter snow and ice you will see the heat radiating from the hood as if it were getting too hot.

How about using the nylon or plastic pry tools that are also used for removing door panels to pop these clips out?

Yep, those are what you use. [/quote Thanks! . Was just wondering cuz I am sure those clips are in there pretty good, and was not sure if the plastic pry tool would be strong enough. This post has been edited by 6thcelestial: Jul 24, 2016 - 9:37 AM |
