Had I not sold mine it'd be five years this February. I miss it, but at least I still see it from time to time around town.

Feels like yesterday when you sold your celica lol then the hunt for car searching began!

I know right, jeez I hate car searching. That's ok I finally found one I don't feel entirely compelled to sell and buy something else even though there are still a lot of other cars I want.

Hey guys just registered to this page hoping for some light to be shed on an issue. I have had my GT4 for 7 years now and noticed recently that there is a puddle of water in the driver's foot well every time it rains. Any idea as to where the water is coming from?

Installed my projectors finally. Also replaced the LEDs in my gauge cluster and had to do a lot of switching the bulbs around because some wouldn't turn on, some would stay on for no reason (battery and gas but I have a full tank) so I kept the stock halogens in those areas. Problem was solved.

Hi everybody, I just joined the forum a couple days ago. Bought a 95 auto GT hatch in pretty rough shape and I've been replacing and fixing everything I can so far. Yesterday I replaced the waterpump on my 5SFE, man that was tight getting into with the engine still in the car. If I ever had to do that again I'd probably just drop the engine and remove the lower timing cover as well, but I didn't have a pulley remover on hand so I just pushed the lower cover out of the way.

Drop the engine and just swap it while you're at it laugh.gif

Today and every day till it comes, I am impatiently awaiting my exhaust.

That's right, throw in a 1MZ with a S54 or E153 with LSD and you're good to go. thumbsup.gif

I have it in my mind to do a full ST205 swap. I already have the rear drivetrain from the propshaft back and rear hubs, it's winter here and I do all my work in my driveway so I'm waiting to buy a swap but when I do it'll be a 3rd gen 3sgte with the awd box. If I buy it know I'm going to be tempted to hang the car up to do it. I've swapped in the snow before but only out of necessity and on a car I was used to wrenching on.

What exhaust are you waiting on 1994Celica? I see you have a BEAMS swap, that must be fun.

The TRD one. It popped up on nengun. I have an after market JDM exhaust on it now that's okay. It drones too much a bit for me though and the shop that put it in did it wrong. I'll fix that and keep the muffler for when I build my Curren. The TRD one will better fit this car since my build for this is all about rare and hard to find JDM parts and options. The beams is a real fun motor too, I haven't driven it much due to medial issues but when I have its great.

Today I..............

Decided to keep my 1997 Toyota Celica GT Convertible with a 4th gen 3sgte. I had it up for sale for a week. Last Friday and Saturday it was 80 degrees and sunny out so I drove the car around town and fell back in love with it. I remember why I bought this car and why I put this engine in it. I think I put it up for sale out of anger and frustration. Track season starts next month and I am ready!

From my Japan TRD parts thread

Actually designed for the 3S-GE gen 3, not the beams 3S-GE. Though if its like other exhausts made for the 3S-GE/beams you'll only need a 2-3" exhaust section to fit in-between the exhaust
