When: April 22nd, 2017
https://goo.gl/maps/2D9dtdbKk452 Yes, I know it's a little too early to plan any shenanigans but unfortunately there's no time like the present. Our house will be listed for sale next month and when it sells, Brigette is kicking me out and making me move 1,000 miles away. After that, it will be very difficult to make it to another Midwest Meet. She will eventually be following me, of course, and after that we will be lucky to make it to one meet every year or two. I doubt if our house will sell next month so we can plan this meet for April or whenever works best for everyone, but we will almost certainly not be able to make a summer meet. -------------------- "Employ your time in improving yourself by other men's writings, so that you shall gain easily what others labored hard for." -Socrates. Well as long as Brigette and the supra/celica are there, we don't really care. !
I hope the house never sells and you get to stay here forever!! and no i'm not crying, I'm just chopping onions next to my computer. but all kidding aside, you're planning this so you better come. We will want to see you two off like we've done many others (cakes, cookies, and butt!) -------------------- *1997 Celica ST - 3SGE Greytop BEAMS *1977 Celica RA29 - Classic Cruiser *2005 Matrix AWD - dedded but still hanging around like a ghost 2019 Rav4 XLE Premium - Sports mode is fun. |

Where are you moving? Since no one seems to be discussing the elephant in the room... Colorado Springs. It has been something we've been planning in the background for a while but we have decided now is the time to make it happen. It's not so far away that we'll never make it back for another Midwest Meet but it likely won't be this year. Once our house sells it will be difficult for us to take any trips until we are both settled in out there, and we don't have a clue what kind of timeline we are on. All I know is we're listing our house next month, then I have to move out there, get a job, find and buy a house, then come back here to pack up three dogs, two cats, and a woman. I also have a nearly 3 car garage that is overflowing with parts and tools. Should be fun to move halfway across the country. -------------------- "Employ your time in improving yourself by other men's writings, so that you shall gain easily what others labored hard for." -Socrates. Bridgette can come, we'll all take real good care of you don't you worry. There will be plenty of sausages and she can eat cheelas butt too.
But seriously, any time I can make work as far as I know. If you need a little room to store stuff I have a small storage bay that I'm only partly using on the side of my aunties barn if you need it bud. This post has been edited by Bitter: Feb 8, 2017 - 9:48 PM -------------------- |

I got more friends than u mr. Ngo. wouldn't be that long of a drive if you had a buddy to caravan with. You should see if you can meet up with Malecrod. Idk if he's still in MN but he's way up there and usually makes the drive. -------------------- *1997 Celica ST - 3SGE Greytop BEAMS *1977 Celica RA29 - Classic Cruiser *2005 Matrix AWD - dedded but still hanging around like a ghost 2019 Rav4 XLE Premium - Sports mode is fun. |

There's no reason we can't have it somewhere else more centrally midwest out nearer Iowa or something, except that everywhere else within a solid 3 hour radius is basically just flat cornfields. There's Kickapoo down by Danville, there's some stuff in the northern near Wisconsin I think, and Shawnee at the southern tip of the state. There's just not **** all to do or go to in the Midwest in general  It's hard to get any kind of scenery besides a cows ass.
I wouldn't be opposed to Indiana Dunes sometime. This post has been edited by Bitter: Feb 10, 2017 - 10:24 PM -------------------- |

Why you gotta be hating on the cornfields and little bit of woods that I grew up in?
