We did a soft bristled brush with the cleaner and wiped off with a microfiber towel, did it twice to just make sure it was thoroughly clean and then the conditioner was applied with a microfiber towel and left on until it absorbed/dried. Redid the conditioner a handful of times before buffing off with a clean microfiber after the last time. It definitely made a big improvement to the look and feel of the leather in the Audi, but the entire interior was coated in makeup courtesy of the previous owner. Female owned they say.

It's always something isn't it... I hate when that kind of crap happens. Now it's just even more time before getting what you actually need. OH AND IT FINALLY HAPPENED; my brother actually raised the Genesis. I can barely squeeze a finger between the tire and fender/quarter now. I asked if it rode better and he was like, "Yeah, and now it doesn't scrape unless it's a really bad bump." Hmmm, don't say... cwm13.gif

Next vehicle will be an overly lifted truck, I guarantee it.

He has the Durango and it just sits. He's not really into trucks or SUVs, but he's less picky than me and will buy sedans like the Audi and then the Maximas prior. I just can't... I don't know why but I just can't like anything with more than two doors, and if it's a two-door sedan I don't even really like that. So as an example a lot of the older 2-door BMWs and the Fox-body Mustang with that definitive B-pillar and sedan roof profile just looks wrong to me. I even go a step further to preferring two doors without quarter glass like the F-body, Corvette, RX-7, and MKIII Supra. I need help. laugh.gif

Problem with a very black car and no shade on my driveway is that I have to wash it at dusk and as the sun is totally blinking out for the night I'm drying it, and I'm literally seeing the car vanish into my black driveway as I'm working like a freaking cloaking device on a Romulan Warbird.

Before moving and when the Firebird was parked out in the yard I constantly bumped my shin on the nosecone at night because I couldn't see it. laugh.gif That and black car in the summer isn't nice, thankfully it has grey cloth interior. The Audi being black on black leather is pure Hell. At least it's not red.

I use a sun shade and park where a tall tree casts shade in the afternoon, by the time I'm out of work the interior is not hot at all.

That moment you pull out onto the highway and instead of going forward you sit there and spin instead, was already rolling around 15-20 mph in first and didn't use more than 1/2 throttle but traction be damned. That and it was like 80° out, just need to find some 11" wide rims and wrap them in cheater slicks I suppose. A lot different from the Celica and Miata that were on 5.5" wide rims with all seasons I couldn't break traction unless I dumped the clutch off redline from a standstill... It's just tiring at times having to constantly be mindful of your right foot, on the Celica and Miata you could just punch it to the floor without consequence and that was on skinny rims and all seasons. I blame instant torque, the Genesis makes about the same amount of power with similar width rear rims and summer tires and isn't anywhere as touchy and it's a lot higher geared too. Yet for some reason it feels notably slower even though power to weight is about the same.

Normally don't have any problems when warmer out, and especially when 80°+ out. Which now that I think about it I had just turned off a loose gravel road so I guess the tires were coated in dust and gravel, I had to slow down for someone to make a turn not even a mile down the road and I got on it a lot harder then and didn't spin any. Still at least it's not like when it first had the 16x8 wrapped in all seasons, that was like driving on ice all the time.

That moment you discover even the N/A Z32 came with LSD standard... They're a viscous unit though, which I guess maybe the one I tested was worn out and that's why I thought the N/A came with an open diff. Great, now I want a Z32 more... Giving up 100 horsepower for IRS seems like a fair enough trade-off to me. cwm13.gif

It makes a difference though, sure most of the time you never notice it's there but it's nice to have when it's needed. Or at least with the friction cone Auburn in the Firebird you definitely notice it when it engages. I hear VLSD even when new aren't all that drastic in comparison.

After what felt like a million hours of driving yesterday, I picked up a 94 GT that is 3rd gen 3S-GTE swapped. It's probably just a donor at this point, now that I see it in the daylight. Also since it's lowered I nearly ripped the front bumper off unloading it last night.

Here is what it once was,. http://www.6gc.net/celicas/1994-gt-hatchback-4796

Pics coming soon. First step make the motor run again.
