I recently bought a 95 GT vert to rebuild, and I can't really find parts ANYWHERE for this thing. So I'm looking for a ton of stuff. It is in super beat up condition, so when i say everything, I really mean everything.

to start I'll just list some stuff I need, if you have anything you are selling, let me know, I'll probably want it.

Convertible top, motors, rear window. all of it, or any of it. Need it all.

Front Seats, or seats that fit it without modification.

Fenders. Stock or aftermarket. as long as they are in almost new condition.

The projector headlights I seem to see but can not find anywhere.

any and all GT4 body swap parts. Or nice but not over the top aftermarket body panels.

Cold air intake. my box is destroyed, and I might as well just CIA it.

rear passenger window.

convertible trunk with Stock GT wing with brake light. OR gtfour wing with risers would work as well.

ANY N/A performance bolt ons really. just to replace stock stuff that is damaged or missing.

I'm currently rebuilding the 5f-se for a turbo, so any of the 3gste stuff that transfers over, I'll probably take unless I already have it.

Other than that, Yea, shoot me what you have and unless I already grabbed it or ordered it, I may take it. This car needs new EVERYTHING.

Thanks!

Sent you a PM.

I'm on the brink of parting out 2 celicas #becauseracecar. One is black leather interior, other is tan cloth (typical wear on driver's seat for both, pristine all else). GT4 front end (bumper & mounting, hood, fenders, foglights) - all panels are straight though some paint damage typical of JDM importers, mint jdm projector set High and low, floor mats, a ton of other crap. Aftermarket GT4-style front fiberglass bumper and fenders. I might even part with 7G GT-S rims (little rough, as paint started peeling on some - very typical of 7GC rims).

Both are liftbacks, so no trunk, taillights, or other conv specific parts.

rockauto has the driver side fender aftermarket if i recall. i have a aftermarket OEM replica fender myself from taiwan and fitment is just like OEM!!!

Unfortunately the convertible one is never in stock. Going on 4 months now they haven't had it lol. At this point i woudl rather have one with a little style anyway. Mine are trashed from the guy before me sliding it against something before he traded it in.

how much do you have in the vert? finding parts for it is going to be hard and expensive. there are no aftermarket fenders, and only fenders you can buy are from ebay. you can adapt fenders from a hatch. but I have never done it.

would it make more financial sense to get a hatch? vert motors are the same as some Mitsubishi eclipse convertible. Unfortunately the rear windows are not in stock by Toyota. everytime I see a vert in the yard I grab parts.

but it would come a time that you would have to fix what you have...

I really only like the vert. And I REALLY don't like hatchbacks, so If I got rid of this I probably wouldn't replace it with another 6gc. I like the look of the vert specifically. The reason for this car in general was I got it so cheap and wanted to see what I could do with a light import. I normally drive camaros. So if this doesnt work out youll see it for sale on the forums after summer lol

Looks like i am just going to get rid of it probably. I'll continue the search for a bit i guess, but every one is telling me no or giving me super discouraging info (not discouraging per se, but that i really dont have the know how to get this thing where i want it, which is my fault), and parts are scarce so im boned.

if you really love the car, no reason to get discouraged. just that it will be hard. you have to look into the yards, and find them. they are out there. craigslist sells them for cheap. there was one out here selling for cheap. thats when u snatch up the parts..

ya bro don't let it go so easily. it will be hard. I was searching for a 96+ front bumper for the longest time. over a year at least, and njcmd2002 finally shipped me one!!! so something will pop up eventually...

It's just a laundry list of things that are making me want to sell ti really.

I'm not going to be able to do a swap on my own, I can't find parts, it's ugly as sin right now, the top is going to be crazy expensive to fix, and just the motors i found are $200 EACH lol. It's an auto, which is terrible for me. The body parts I DO find for it end up being just too expensive for ME personally.

I also don't know enough about it to even know what I need, or want. I really do enjoy the car, but right now it is in such **** condition, that just driving it to work is about all I can do. I really don't have the knowledge to do all the **** you guys talk about all day and i sit her and really get hyped up over the stuff i want to do, but in the end it is mostly a pipe dream. I even called a couple shops, willing to PAY for a swap if i bought the engine and other misc. parts, and no one really wants to do it.

I don't even know where to start. Honestly, and this is mainly my fault, I usually just buy cars that are already fast lol. Couple bolt ons, a little this, a little that, and I'm good to go.

At this point I don't know if I am capable of all these things I want to do and it has me a little down. frown.gif

when I first logged into this site, I knew nothing of cars. but I did a clutch job a few months later.

I learned and did it because I wanted to do it.

If you have no time, and no budget, this is not for you. You don't need a project. you need a car, and like I said, verts are like a side chick. expensive to fix once they break parts.
