Was watching Mighty Car Mods for the first time in years. Now I really want a 350Z, or a Subaru WRX wagon turned into a ute.

MCM is awesome. Because if them I want a Silvia, a turbo legacy and a weird jdm micro car.

I still want a Suzuki Cappuccino really badly, though if I had the money I could import one now I spose.
I had seen the Heidt's setup a couple of months ago, will be interesting to see how well it does once people start buying and installing it. Would be nice to see two F-bodies similarly set up, one all out with a Watt's link and one with the Heidt's IRS then compare them side by side. The only thing is you'd really have to love the F-body since between the cost of the car and the conversion you're well into C4 and C5 Corvette territory, so it'd be interesting to see them compared to the Corvettes as well. I was expecting you to say a Daihatsu Mira.
If I can I'd like to eventually. I'm wanting to do a new o.e. replacement clutch, that and make sure the clutch fork pivot points are well lubricated with molybdenum grease. See if that eases the pedal effort enough to not cause problems. I looked into doing a hydraulic throw-out bearing until I'm blue in the face, if there were any conversion kits they're long gone. I guess anything is possible, but it seems no one else is really interested in it since there's really no point. That and all the conversion kits out there now for older engines are based on using the LS style T-56 and TR-6060. I think the biggest issue comes with the LT-1 being a pull clutch, where the LS cars and most every other car in existence is a push clutch. -------------------- 2001 Miata LS 5-speed

Find you a RX-8 with a blown motor, great chassis and dirt cheap to find a nice enough example that doesn't run. -------------------- 2001 Miata LS 5-speed

Driving my Mazda around some more on surface streets with all the new parts, it's almost like driving a new car. I hate that I spent that much on it but I love how it runs and rides now, it's nice but still slow as a hamster with a gimp leg and polio.

LS4 cars are good for two things and two things only, blowing through transmissions and blowing through tires.

Tonight I installed HID’s in the 4Runner. Soon I’ll put some LED’s in the fog lights. The factory lighting in this thing is easily the worst of any vehicle I’ve ever driven. Holding my phone’s flashlight out of the window is an improvement over the stock headlights. Needless to say the HID’s are a huge improvement.

Back to 4runner talk, just did a fresh oil change, plugs, wires and rear diff fluid. Took it out on a mild trail, the rear locker works amazing. Next on the list to save and buy the retroset headlights, solid $600 investment. Also went through the service records and ball joints, timing belt, waterpump and oil pump where done 4k ago. Great news for the 3rd Gen that I don't have to buy now.
