Hey there, so this is the start of a journey that begun over a year ago (but was kept on haiatus albeit)
Basically, I am turning my Aussie Delivered 1997 SX Celica into an 'SX6', basically the SSIII body with a 1MZ-FE fwd, an option that sadly wasn't offered as factory. MODS SO FAR:
PROBABLE MODS:
I have a lot of research to do but I have seen a completed 1MZ Celica and it was a total rocket. I have the money to proceed, I just need to make it happen! This post has been edited by CelicaSX6: Jan 24, 2018 - 8:00 AM |

1MZ-GE? Is that w/ a 3SGE head or something? I've never heard of that term before.
Unless there's a special GE head for the 1MZ I thought all that existed are the FE heads. |

I guess it's possible someone has made "GE" style heads for the 1MZ, but as far as from the factory goes there was only the 1MZ-FE. In fact I think all of the V6 have had FE heads and none with GE heads. Same goes for their V8 engines aside from the 2UR-GSE.

Will have an update soon, life has gotten in the way.
Finding a 1mz with low enough kms is proving time consuming. |
