I’ll narrow it down a little. It’s a 2012, but basically brand new. It’s Japanese, and we did not get rid of any of our vehicles for it. It’s definitely not a minivan, truck, or a crossover. Hmm, so 2012 Japanese car or SUV then. Hmm... Part of me wants to say it's a Toyota product. That and another SUV wouldn't make sense, so I'm thinking it's a car of some sort. Any kind of 2012 Scion or Toyota wouldn't be basically brand new at this rate, so I'm thinking a Lexus. That and being in Colorado AWD would be nice, so I'm going to say a LS or GS. -------------------- 2001 Miata LS 5-speed

I intended to rule out anything Toyota earlier as well, that’s my mistake. We still have the 4Runner so no need for a truck or SUV. It’s also not AWD/4WD. More like a one wheel wonder/one tire fire/one wheel peel, whichever saying you prefer.

Hmmm, so either FWD or RWD with open diff. Still could be a LS or GS, though being only RWD I'd be more inclined to the LS for the size, luxury, and V8. Though it sounds like this is more for her if you're using the 4Runner, so the answer is clear. It's a tC.

It could be a GS... The LS has a limited slip.
I don't know about the FRS though. I thought they were all LSD cars, but could be wrong. Please don't tell me you bought an FRS. -------------------- ~bloodMoney

It’s no Toyota product at all. No Lexus or Scion. Definitely not another Nissan either. I’ll add that it is also very affordable, cheap maintenance, cheap parts, cheap tires, and dead reliable, and isn’t a Civic although it sounds like I’m describing one to a T.

Does it have 2 wheels or 4?
Maybe a scooter? Snowmobile? Can a human drive it? |

Not a Toyota/Lexus/Scion, not a Nissan, not a Civic... Since Subaru is ruled out as everything is AWD now, and the only thing reliable about a Mitsubishi is that it will break. So that leaves... HONDA ACCORD. If it's a 6-speed coupe that'd be pretty sweet, I hear good things about them before they got rid of the double wishbone setup. -------------------- 2001 Miata LS 5-speed

My other guess is a Miata, since some of those were open differential.

It’s open air like a Miata, yet the Accord guess isn’t far off. Devin is pretty darn close. In the interest of not keeping this thread as a guessing game, I’ll reveal that it’s a little bitty baby Honda CBR250R. Nothing fancy or special. Just a little starter bike for the wife. I’m not into motorcycles myself but she’s wanted one for years so I’ve decided to cave and let her get one. It’s not her I’m worried about, it’s the two million idiots that live in Denver that shouldn’t have driver’s licenses that are the problem.

SWEET! I sometimes wish for a 250 street bike. A light bike is absolutely a great starter. I love my little Eliminator and don't regret going for it at all. Any more details?

SWEET! I sometimes wish for a 250 street bike. A light bike is absolutely a great starter. I love my little Eliminator and don't regret going for it at all. Any more details? It’s underpowered for sure but it’s good for her. I’ve seen how she drives a car and she doesn’t need the power of a 600 or 1,000, plus the light weight and relatively small height are good for her. Her commute does involve some highway driving so I have no doubt that she’ll find the sub 90 mph top speed in no time. so when does the modding begin? She may or may not have some vinyl samples on the way so she can change the color. I thought we’d established that I am no good at vinyl wrapping but she hates the current color scheme. I totally picture Brigette on a cafe racer over a sport bike. Her dad always had a Harley but she’s always leaned towards sport bikes. This one is just a starter bike though. We may not keep it forever once she gets the hang of it. -------------------- "Employ your time in improving yourself by other men's writings, so that you shall gain easily what others labored hard for." -Socrates. First mod is a bigass loud ****ing horn That, also LED lighting that goes on the bike and turns red with brake signal. Also good gear is paramount. I'll have to say at least I've managed to talk some sense into my brother over the years, he actually had the gear sales guy at the bike dealership have to talk him down from what we picked out because it was overkill for street use and apparently that was the first time in all his years there he had to talk someone down on gear. That and and he's done a horn upgrade, ended up doing the FIAMM freeway low tone, as well as LED lighting all over the bike that goes from white(it's RGB but he uses white) to red when the brakes are on. I like the idea of a motorcycle but even his Yamaha R3 is too big for me, so I'd need a Grom probably in order to be comfortable and feel like I was in control of the bike. Looking around what I'd really like is a Honda CBR250RR from back in the day since they rev to 19,000 rpm, that or a Honda RVF400 since it has a V4 that revs to 14,500. Then again would be a matter of fitting it, or finding them since from my understanding they're rare. -------------------- 2001 Miata LS 5-speed
