First post here, got a 99 GT convertible as my first car a few months ago. So glad to have a forum for the 6gc.

Anyways, the two speakers in the back on the sides are rattling and farting all over the place when I play bass-heavy music. I swapped the stereo with a free one I got a while ago, some off brand one.

I want to replace those back two obviously but while I'm at it I might as well change the other ones up front on the doors too. How big are the ones in the back, and the three on the doors? Appreciate it

If you're doing the fronts it's a great time to add some butyl sound damper to the door skins and to ditch the plastic vapor barrier to use either butyl sound damper or frostking fv516 to cover the holes. The better sealed the door is the better your speakers will sound. Bonus, they'll sound like BMW doors when they close, thump instead of clank.

Nice man. What do you have in there right now and what are you putting in? I'd like to swing by and see what's up. Maybe if you don't need the old ones I could take them off your hands since the ones in mine are all messed up
