Before you read any further into this post, I feel obligated to share this because I don't have a place to explain the **** I've been through to a group of people who have been in a similar situation, where I can actually express my feelings without being censored. I also really, really want you all to know how much Casey/Box means to me. Last night, I had an awful nightmare about my birth family coming and having me arrested for being a bad person or something. I then woke up to a "Lets talk about family" post in one of my Facebook groups.
This is my year, prior to moving in with Casey, in a nutshell. On January 1st of this year, I left my ex girlfriend after she threatened to commit suicide and blame me for it. I drove back to Chicago and stayed with friends for the first two nights. I had a few nights here and there where I wasn't on the street. In march I got beaten nearly to death on the floor of a mass transit bus. In mid-march, when I moved in with my ex bf (Who is still really close with me) things kinda were okay for a while. I ended up leaving in mid April after I was offered a place to stay in Scranton, PA, where I got raped (again), and then ended up in my abusive dads house (again), and then a homeless shelter, where I eventually was told I was moving in by Casey. When I was homeless, I was in the same area as most of my then family. None of my family would let me stay with them, even on the floor, for one night. My mom said I was "killing her" Because I "expected her to pay for the phone she told me she would pay for" (It was somewhere around $60 a month for the Samsung S10e and the unlimited plan she had). Her monthly rent was around $1700 a month and there were around $300 in utilities and amenity fees (indoor parking permits, when outdoor was free, etc). But that $60 and asking for one night on the couch or the floor, or $10 so I could eat was more than she could handle. She also stole my car after conspiring with my uncle, who transferred the title into her name instead of mine before I made the first payment and sold it, pocketing the $2000 I had paid and the $3500 the car was worth. She also sent the police for a well being check in early June, to my GF's and my new family a few days after moving in. I told the police to their face that "It's funny how when I was on the street for almost 6 straight months, got raped, assaulted, beaten bloody, had my nose broken in four places, sustained a concussion, had most of my hair ripped out, she couldn't care less and told me that all of these things were my "fault for being trans." I told them "If she really cared, she would have let me stay with her for even one night. If she cared, she would have let me have just one meal. She wouldn't have stolen the car I was living in and sold it. She wouldn't have dumped me in a place I had never been, after lying to my face that she had a place for me. So you can take that well being check and tell her to shove it up her ass." I paused. "Well being check? It would have been nice if she cared, when I was homeless." **** her. **** her with every ounce of everything in my body. What did I ever do to deserve this? My mother even conspired with my uncle to steal the car I had, that my uncle had sold me. I was making payments to my uncle in the good faith that I would get the title when I was done paying it off. The car was a 65,000 mile 2008 civic ex sedan, automatic, that had been damaged on every single body panel, had four different tires, bad brakes, and multiple electrical gremlins, no less). Carmax offered him 4000 for this car, in this state, as I later found out, while he told me it was $5000 they offered him. I was in a bind in July of 2018, because I had just filed bankruptcy and couldn't get a car after being forced to let go of my last, so I had to take it to get to work. I'm not homeless anymore, since 6/6/20/ but a few days after I moved in with my gf and my birth mother sent the police to my girlfriend's and her family's home, where I live now, to do a well being check. I laughed at them. I told them it would have been so nice if she had given me one night in a warm room, when I was on the street, being turned away from homeless shelters, or given the choice between sleeping with men who might have sexually assaulted or otherwise raped me (as if the previous 4 times I had been raped wasn't enough already) and being rejected altogether. When I got beaten bloody on the bus, she told me that I shouldn't have engaged these people." It's as if asking someone to talk a little softer means they should get up and beat the **** out of you, break a lot of your stuff, and feel completely justified about it and face no repercussions. She doesn't care. She never did. I was always a tool to make her look like a good person to the group of friends she never had. But I'm here now. I feel loved. I'm sorry if I have told you all this story before. I just get so broken by these sorts of things. I hate it. -Lorelei "went to a better place" Moira This post has been edited by Box: Aug 11, 2020 - 9:09 AM -------------------- 2001 Miata LS 5-speed

pretend jewish adopted lesbian younger big sister Okay, This. This right here. This I gotta hear. It all started when she was born at a very young age and adopted by a nice Jewish family that had born unto themselves 2 very disabled children who lived a surprisingly long time. Twins, they were both born with Canavan disease which is rare but even more rare to have twins with it both. Seeing this and having a desire for more children they chose to adopt. Fast forward a number of years and we met in small engines class in highschool where I broke her dads lawn mower, then stayed after class to fix it, ran my ass off to catch up with her to tell her I fixed it and sorry I broke it (again), we've been friends since. She didn't know she was gay yet and neither did I but it all makes sense now, pretty sure our engines/auto teacher knew. Anyway, she basically became part of my family. She was always hanging out at my house to get away from the crazy that was her home life. She does have a brother and sister, I think one of them is adopted as well. Her brother is weird, her sister is pretty normal. She got shipped off to board school at 16, went the full gay, moved to California with a girl and lived out there for a while, then came back here for a bit, then to Arizona for a job for a while, and now she's back here where we work together at the shop I've been at for a while. She's always joked that she's my big sister, but I'm older than her. She's not really Jewish since she's blond hair blue eyes and doesn't practice it except for family functions. She's adopted. Her mom being the snoopy Jewish woman that she is like snatched the papers off the desk when the woman left the room for a moment and copied down as much info about the birth parent as she could but Michelle has never had contact with her as far as I know, like she thinks she knows who/where but just isn't sure about if she wants or doesn't want to know this person or have them in her life. Can respect, 100%. Oh and she's great at work managing the office because guys expect a girl to be... a girl but she's got bigger balls and has ****ed more women than any of the guys who come in and give her attitude, she doesn't back down. I asked her. I was trying to wait for the right moment.
It came. I actually almost broke my leg trying to do it. She said yes. This post has been edited by Box: Aug 12, 2020 - 7:43 PM -------------------- 2001 Miata LS 5-speed

Working on the driver seat now, forgot I was going to do a how-to and skinned the seat back off real fast last night. OOOPS well I'll make it work. Set the seat back on the seat back foam to let it unwrinkle a little before I put the metal rods in and hog ring it in place. I also bent the two lower springs some to add a little more lumbar, it's way more comfortable sitting flat on the living room floor already, in the car it'll be way better. Still not looking forward to the seat bottom....again. Also, it's crazy how nice the leather was on these seats 20 years ago, there's little bits and flaps that have been caught on the inside of the seat which are virgin. It's soft, supple, nice good leather while what's been sat on for the past 2 decades is glossed over slicked up polished smooth like plastic. I feel bad that no one took care of the seats and paint properly on this car, it could have been so much nicer than it is now.

That's how it usually is, though some cars hold up better than others. Oh yeah, speaking of Celicas when Lorelei was with mom going to the bank and back home she spotted two 7th gens for sale. She called and asked me if I wanted her to stop and look at them, but I'm already set on a Miata and the Firebird hasn't sold yet.
-Casey Edit: Yeah, it was a super clean white one with a larger hood scoop. White, couldn't tell, but there was something off about the rear. IIRC it was a late model. - Lorelei This post has been edited by Box: Aug 14, 2020 - 10:02 AM -------------------- 2001 Miata LS 5-speed

Well that was a day.
Supplier sent a fuel pump for a 95 S10 with a 4.3, has TBI, they sent the MFI pump so we got about 50psi too many fuels. Pumps look identical externally. So I gotta **** all that back over to get the right pump in on Monday. Of course the supplier is trying to blame us for this somehow though they never asked which engine was in the truck and we gave them the VIN number in case they needed to engine code off that to get us the right pump. -------------------- |

Well, I didn't sleep yesterday and I'm kinda feeling it now. Haven't slept since Wednesday night, so I'm a bit on edge. Picked a new haircut today. That's exciting. Finally will have a decent haircut for the first time since February, once the barbers open up again. Casey's younger sister's sweet 16 is Tuesday. I am hesitant on getting her a gift because she's been a total douchebag to me for the last week or so. On top of that, she blows up over nothing, all the time, and nothing is ever her fault, according to her. It is good to be trans sometimes. Nice to have a family, though.

Get her an adult pacifier.
Bought myself a minty fresh looking used but newer than mine steering wheel for the Celica. One side has rashed up leather on it and it's bleeding color into my hand when I drive and sweat. Finding a leather wheel in good shape for the auto is hard, there's not many around and this one looks 99% where as mine is like 70%. Miiiight be worth it though, depends who's doing the kicking and in what context. I'm not here to kink-shame anyone. Some people like being kicked, some people like clay barring their Celica, some people like to dress up like a racoon, and some people like flashlights.

Speaking of flashlights, I bought a Nitecore MT10C for dog walking, it's been great. It's very small to slip in the pocket, has decent battery life with the 700mah 18350 cell, it's plenty bright, the strobe is good, and the red light mode is handy as well. 10/10! -------------------- |
