Tuned MR2 vs Integra and Silvia. Larger wheels n tires has allowed MR2 to gain .3 sec on lap time
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=innox_BJx2Q Tuned battle, AE111 only has full TRD Exhaust, while ITR lost more weight and Civic has swapped ITR motor w/ extreme weight reduction. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P1TBhbcUR6Y This post has been edited by BonzaiCelica: Feb 25, 2017 - 5:45 AM -------------------- Group buy to replicate Narrow E series transaxle parts

MR-S clocked the fast sector time on Part 5 of these videos, but looses elsewhere because of power. A stock 2zz motor while the J'S racing has build F20C. MRS weighs 880kg and J's racing is about 940kg (I say about because a 2004 S2K tuners video on best motoring listed the S2K J's racing with 2.2litre weighing in a 940kg. With some internal work MRS, would of came out as 2014 touge champion
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1XTmsAWrvUo Tuned 98 spec MR2 G-Limited beams, with upgraded coilovers and larger wheels.... while the MR2 has coilover set up, the Integra still weighs 200lbs less. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GuDjjBbdKYg This post has been edited by BonzaiCelica: Feb 26, 2017 - 4:32 AM -------------------- Group buy to replicate Narrow E series transaxle parts

2000 Celica TRD Sport M = 255 mil Yen 2000 Integra Type R = 251 mil yen and integra is only 45 lbs lighter. ZZT231 chassis is good, but the 2zz mehhh THE TRD WHEELS IN THE BEST Motoring video are one pound lighter per wheel over the DC2. a review by the guy PerformanceCars (youtube) said that engine drops out of lift when shifting at 8,000 rpm haha what a joke. the SS-III was $1,000 cheaper than Sports M and still faster around track. how! (the value of yen didnt change from Oct 97-Oct 99) This post has been edited by BonzaiCelica: Aug 26, 2018 - 2:48 PM -------------------- Group buy to replicate Narrow E series transaxle parts

(the value of yen didnt change from Oct 97-Oct 99) That's why you're supposed to shift nearer to fuel cut at 8250 (or 8500 more likely in Japan) and it'll land at the start of lift in 2nd gear for 1-2 lift good-ness. And while the TRD wheels might have been a lb lighter than the DC2 they're way way heavier than the stock 16" wheels are which is a huge harm to the torque limited 2ZZ at lower engine speeds. -------------------- |

Which makes it inferior to the 3sge redtop and blacktop motors. since toyota knew this, they should of put a 4.7 final drive on it or made each gear closer. -------------------- Group buy to replicate Narrow E series transaxle parts

A 4.7 FD would have given some ludicrous highway cruise RPM LOL! I stand with the 2ZZ and say it's a great engine with a lot of untapped performance that's been overlooked. The 7th gen was just so polarizing!
