Yeah man, we had a Chevy ****tyExpress in a while back, it's just a re-branded Nissan NV200. This one was outfitted by a PI firm as a spy van. Back was partitioned off from the front, front was filled with fake stuff about utilities marking. In the back there was a chair on a swivel with a periscope in a chimney on the roof, cameras and screens and all manner of stuff. We all agreed it was really cool and we all agreed to not take any pictures or talk about it to anyone at the time. We didn't ask any questions about it.

But yeah, ****ty vehicle. I'm shocked you found something worse than that Murano!

I was tired of pencil gauges, and didn't want to deal with batteries, so I bought this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B06XBXVXM9?p...ob_b_asin_title

It arrived yesterday, so I used it to check my tires.  Easy enough to use, super easy to read, seems accurate, feels sturdy enough, and inexpensive.  10/10 would recommend.

I've been using the same Slime gauge and it's pretty much just to check if they're where I think they should be according to that gauge. It could be inaccurate, it might not be 30, might be 28 or might be 32 but when it says 30 *I* know it's what I want.

I’m in the Dominican Republic this week so I’m a little slow to get posts approved, but my signature is a sure sign that we trade cars way too often. The forum goes down for a year and I sell the Supra, the Rav went away, bought a 4Runner and Tacoma, and this 4Runner is going away for another brand new one in the next month or two. laugh.gif

#rip

Shifter rebuild kit arrived and installed yesterday, but just got around to driving today. Both boots were torn, all bushings were intact albeit worn, and it was full of gear oil albeit moisture contaminated.

Shifting feel is much improved with the new bushings, boots, and turret fluid. Upshifting and downshifting feels infinitely better now between this and getting the clutch rod adjusted. So good. smile.gif

I miss our ‘06 V8 4Runner quite a bit. That’s up there in my favorite vehicles we’ve owned so far.

Unfortunately it’s more like the dealership is friends with me… nearly $8,000 in port-installed addons to the 4Runner. Nothing I could remove since they were all on the Monroney and yet it’s nothing that we wanted or needed. The next 4Runner will only be the options we want on it though. I’m genuinely trying to be done spending money on cars. laugh.gif
