Ok, after my run in with the law and finding that my Weapon R Dragon Intake isn't CARB exempt i am left with a dilemma. I could either try to find an intake which i'm SURE is CARB exempt...like the K&N FIPK system or my buddy had an idea that i might be able to get just a K&N filter which may or may not come with a sticker and then take the sticker and slap it on my other intake and problem solved.
So my 2 questions are: 1. Anybody know if the normal K&N filters come with a sticker in the box that i can slap on my intake? 2. Anyone know of a different intake that is FOR SURE CARB exempt that is worth buying and relatively inexpensive? |

I didn't get a sticker when I had a K&N. You might be able to slap a K&N sticker on your intake and pull it off, but that's very iffy

Nah i think u misunderstood me man, i don't want a sticker that says "K&N Products" for the side of my car or something, i want a little sticker that says "CARB Exempt" with a little number on it (the Exemption certificate #) that i can put on my intake so when a cop looks at it i dont have to go have my car re-smogged so i can register because my intake is ""illegal"". |

I'm pretty sure injen is carb exempt in all 50 states. Do you need the sticker on the intake pipe itself or could you store it in a book in the car with other records or something? God california sucks with their emissions ****. How'd they make you open the hood without probably cause?
