hey black-st I have a question do you have a problem with the wearing of your khumo supra 712's?

I love them especially in wet weather, but they have worn out quickly.

Nikon D100, 20 seconds @ F16.

The only lighting on the car was from nearby freeway traffic.

Funny you should ask that. My old 712's (205/40-17) wore out very quickly. My new 712's (215/45-17) have lasted alot longer.

Maybe the lower profile (stiffer sidewall) contributed to the accelerated wear? What size are yours?

D100, nice. Musta been able to simulate some fast film, at f16 it'd have to be a long exposure with a conventional.

Speaking of conventional, anyone have any shots on infrared film? That could look good.
