I just installed the Injen intake...

This thing sounds awesome and the install is sound. It really brightens up the engine bay and gave a new life to my car. My car had no previous performance type upgrades and now I'm compelled to limit all non-needed expenses to a stand-still so I can buy more performance upgrades.

I just wanted to note that the sound this little engine puts out now is amazing to me. It may not add much horsepower, and when Ipunch it to make my lil Celi bark it may waste tons of very expensive gas but hey....it's freakin worth it.

I'm not just saying thje Injen one though. But for those of you looking to spend a little bit of money to start getting that rice feel, then make an Intake or buy one. It's totally worth it. It makes you feel really cool when you ride up along side someone, rev it up and let er rip when the light's turn green...evebn if the other person isn't showdogging either...they get a lil smirk on their face thinking "sweet dude..."

Later....just wanted to say oen fo my excperiences.

I modded a civic intake and put a K&N filter on it and intstalled it myself. It was my first (and only tongue.gif ) performance mod. I had the same feeling you do when I first got. It will get old after a while and paying the gas will too, especially now. Its up to $1.67 for 87 where Im at. But, yeah dood, I still enjoy getting on mine every now and again.

$1.99 for 87 over here...the fuken prices have increased drastically! That's it i'm callin for a carpool. ^^

Snadman, I get ricer revvs all the time but sometimes if they get lucky they'd get a piece of me out on the streets all silly regardless of their sweet nice sound lookin ride and they defineately be wishing this $hit didn't happen to them when people are in it because the shame is too much to handle. I consider exhaust and intakes as non-performance mods unless it's turbo'ed:)smile.gifsmile.gifsmile.gifsmile.gifsmile.gif

Ya'll ready fo dis? na na na na okie i

Sounds good man...nice one!

My Red IS2040 is on order, should be sent this week and will arrive in the next couple of weeks (shipping 5-10 days).
Can't wait!

...and what's more I'll be the only one with one here in France. biggrin.gif

BTW: Look at getting an exhaust system next (Greddy SP or similar).

P.S. 1.89 Euros/L for 98.
