Yes i did many searchs and they didnt answer all of my questions

Is it possible to take a ST205 clip buy a rear axel and make a GT AWD?

What would i have to do to make it all fit...and what else would i need to buy to make it work?

What i want to do is take the 3s-gte from a ST205 and use the Tranny that comes with it and make my GT AWD.

Well i did another search(just typed in "help")AWD ST205 and found something. So from what i have read the exaust and the gas tank would need to be relocated.

So if i didnt go with the st205 tranny which would be smarter to go with, which one would hold up to the power i know that the 5sfe tranny wouldnt.

There has been one person on this site that has succesfully done it. I believe it's neverstop. He said he had some problems with it pulling to one side after he got around 100mph I believe. It doesn't seem like it would work that great, if at all.

Good luck doing it. Most people suggest using a fuel cell. You would need an entire front/rear clip & some pretty good welding skills, otherwise it's possible.

Neverstop tried that too by welded a piece in to the rear to lock it up but it just broke. Just use your GT tranny if you want to do FWD.

the 5s-fe tranny dosnt explode at once when it touches a 3s-gte... Only like 2 or 3 people have had significant problems with the s54 tranny. Mine is holding up fine so far...

otherwise use an mr2 turbo tranny, and buy a whole lot more stuff.

If i did the MR2 turbo Tranny, wouldnt i need to get a new axel, to match up with the mr2 Tranny?

There is a thread, started by me, a few months ago, where kuya (Ray) went into what you need for the MR2 Tranny swap. Now go find it.

Wow... I just did a search for the word "tranny" under the "Engine/Transmission/Performance" forum.. and found A LOT of topics. One of the topics, which wasn't hard to find was "3S-GTE Trannies". I didn't realize using the search tool was so easy!!!

Hey Chrobis, thanks for the tip. Do you have any other advice on how I can make my searching a lot easier? Is Google.com good to use? Doesn't Celica.net, Alltrac.net, ToyotaCelicaWeb.com, and some others a good place to find this information as well? Oh what? You mean to tell me that it's really that simple to search as long as you use the proper keywords? Whoa... deep stuff man...

If you can't perform a simple search, what makes you think you'll be able to perform a complicated swap? There are reasons for the stickies. There are reasons for the search function. They aren't hard to use and require a LITTLE effort. If you expect to be spoon fed during the whole couse of this project, I'm not the only one that's going to dick you around. But oh well... I'm not the one that searching for a bunch of answers... I've done my research... did all my own DIRTY work... blah blah blah...
