 taking off rims, how to? |

I have aftermarket rims, the enkei DM5.
I am looking to take them off and there seems to be a problem. There is a cap that covers the bolts and i cannot figure out how to take it off... Has anybody got information that might help. Thanks, Preetham. |

it has a slot that looks like its made to pry off...however, i wanted to be sure as i dont want to break it...

you gotta pry it off with a flathead screwdriver and it will just pop right off..dont worry it wont break

thanks..
 another problem...the Dm5 wheels come with locks and as i was using the key to open the wheel nuts, while on the last nut, the key cracked and will not fasten onto the nut to open...has anybody had problems like this...i got the wheels from discount tire, hope they have a spare key...

you can go to a parts store with the one you have and find the same make.. or you can just go to sears and get a stripped bolt remover.. and that works.. but will damage your locks.. and you will have to get new ones
