 Cruise Control Light Blinking, Anybody have any suggestions? |

My cruise control quit working today, all I get is a blinking light when I turn it on.Anybody know anything about the cruise control system on a 95 Auto GT?

My Cruise Control doesn't work. When I turn it on, the engine starts revving up crazy and the RPM's jump all the way up. If I'm going fast, the car jerks (kinda like when accidentially skipping a gear like going from 4th gear to second gear in a standard transmission). I have a 94 Auto GT. Maybe these cars have defective cruise control.

Your speedo/speed sensor might not be working properly...the CC cant get a definate speed.

Its a vacuum hose that controls it, could be leaking. -------------------- i am awesome

My cruise control is all the way disconnected, like no motor there at all and it blinks if I turn it on... must mean its pretty messed up or something.

Mine doesn't work and only blinks too. I will check some vaccum hoses probably tomorrow.

The blinking light means you have a problem, it does'nt mean it's a big or small problem, but just a problem.You air conditioner works that way too. |

Yea its very messed up that means that your sensor went bad and unless you have piles and piles of money laying around I would say just get used to not having cruise. Mine went out and for a brand new sensor it was 1100 dollars. I don't know why they are so damn expensive but they are. You can try and find one in a salvage yard though might be a little cheaper. |
