no,it runs much better under hard acceleration..its in lower gears and lower speeds. if you just ease it around it misses bad...but if you tromp the gas pedal on down and shift it out its ok...on the highway in 5th gear its smooth and dosent miss at all. it seems to be missing the worst under 3000 rpm. above that it does ok.anything you can tell me is appreciated...mark

It ran bad pulling from a stop or sometimes idled rough and stalled at a stop. I cleaned out the dirt and dust in the mass air flow sensor with some rubbing alcohol and it helped for a short time. I still think it was my fuel pump or something in the air/fuel because under hard acceleration it was fine. I never got it sorted out cause I totaled it on thanksgiving night...DRINK AND DRIVE! Ok I see.
It more sounds like an ignition problem. Check for bad Electrical grounds, alternator, ignition ignitor. Also, try resetting your ECU buy tunning all lights on in the car, radio and remove the + wire from the battery for about 2 - 10mins. Disconnect the batter and go and do somethning and come back out. -------------------- West_Minist
