I'm thinking of buying my friends GSR. Should I? Here's the specs:
1995 Acura Integra GSR 112k miles Sparco seats HIDs Rota slip streams eagle F1 tires JIC coilovers Some system, sounds nice B&W short shifter Front and rear neuspeed swap bar front and rear strut bar (neuspeed) greddy sp exhaust edalbrock header AEM intake AEM cam gears VIS CF hood AEM fuel rail ITR front calipers Axis front pads no cats some ricey blue gauge cluster, looks nice i guess ITR suspension for the winter A built 210 whp B18 is aviable. I dont know how much yet but the head alone is $2k. It's all built with jun and type r parts. Corse i would also need a an ITR tranny w/ that engine. So theres around $5k if i wanna be in the 13s OR.... Pay 3k and swap a 3S. Then I'd be fast fast as this teg (if it had the JUN engine in it) and it'd be easier to go quicker. But that teg does have a lot of cash in aftermarket parts. I also know its been abused. So whatd u guys think? its one of those things that only you can decide, but i would never buy and abused car.

If you know the car has been abused... I would avoid it like the plauge... thats why modded cars arnt worth the tires they sit on...

teg sounds nice, but since the guy has had it for over 100k miles, and has added performance parts to it, i can guarantee he's raced that **** around more times than he can remember. i would buy the 3s. i won't buy a car with aftermarket parts on it, cause i know they've been beating on it.

The thing about buying anything not brand new is.. its prolly be raged.. even the engines you buy.. a 3s was prolly the same way.. I would so no.. Atleast around here.. when i drive i see atleast 4-6 tegs.. an i dont drive far.. to common.. an if you have a faster celi alot more props.. and your more orig.. I personally havnt seen a single done up celi around here.. only one that was well yellow with red an looked like sheat.. nothing really done though.. If your going to get a dif car get somthing alot better than an teg.
but really its what you really want.. dont hcnage your mind on what i or some other person says... just take them into concideration |

does your mom dress you? MAKE UP YOUR OWN DAMN MIND PLEASE. Also, I dont know why anyone would post anything related to getting rid of the celi on a celica forum. We love our cars. This isnt really directed at you, I'm just really sick of seeing these threads and this is the first one I've posted on. |

I would never buy a car with a lot of aftermarket parts on it, especially if you know it's been abused.

MAN!!!I dont believe you!!!You are going for a Honda??What about the chassis and the engine reliability of Toyota??Come one....Go for a better car not for a Honda, dont give a s* about the aftermarket parts he owns.
Anyway whatever we write down here take your own decision(and dont buy it) |

Hondas are just like drugs; JUST SAY NO!!!! But eh, its your loot not mine. Not a fan of abused rides anyway. If you do say yes, , check that engine, seals, and pulleys. One of' um is bound to be bad!!??!!

not only does she, but she also still wipes my ass. I started to look the teg over and due to its abuse, i found some problems and decided not to. Besides, Digndoug is right. Celicas are so orginal -------------------- NASA/SCCA RX-7....currently under the knife
