I have a few questions and if some 1 who has the turbo installed on there car or has heard something about it can answer them i would be thrilled lol biggrin.gif. OK first off i wana know if the turbo is reliabel and if its really easy to install? Also i would like to know where i oculd get the parts that are not included in the pakage. That all for now thanks for reading.

Carson, no offense, but you really need to start using the search button, located in the upper right corner of the screen. Almost every question you've asked on this forum so far has already been answered on the forum; and it's a good idea to read up on the past questions and answers and then ask your question- because a lot of the time you find yourself asking new questions, getting new perspective on things. A lot of work has gone into these forums- thousands of words, lots of posts and it's all for naught if that information is forgotten.

So, be kind, do a search smile.gif

The burien kit is a good kit becuase it has all the little aprts that you might forget about if you are bulding your own kit like the hoses and t connections ans such. Its a good kit with a good turbo, but it is only meant to run low boost and even then, not reliably in my opinion.

i am assuming you are refering to the parts that i stated would be needed to make turn this kit into a RELIABLE running turbo kit for you 5sfe. Well, the things that i believe in my opinion to be required beyond the burien turbo kit is an MSD BTM 6A to control timing, either a Apexi SAFC, Greddy Emanage, or equivinent piggy back computer to control fuel, new colder spark plus regapped to .03, and an intercooler and custom piping. These are the BARE minimum things in addition to the kit. All or most of these things you can find onilne, either with google or ebay. Speaking of which, this site also has a search feature. Try it, because i cant answer all your questions.

Whats up with people always saying to use the search, if you have a question ask it, because it is a forum and thats what its used for, if im not mistaken opinions and information does change over time.

they are not stupid questions, we all had them at some point in time. We just feel that you can learn SO much more by doing your own research rather than counting on others to tell you the answer. After that, any and all questions are always welcome and as you can tell will be answered really quickly on these boards. Anyway, welcome to the boards and hope you enjoy your celica as much as we all do.

AFR gauge wont get you anywhere, you are better off with an EGT gauge and an oil pressure gauge.

youll also need a blow-off valve or a by-pass valve (id recommend the HKS SSQV if you go BOV or use a stock 2nd or 3rd gen 3sgte BPV.)

"dont have time because of work and stuff to search" I don't care. Everyone on the forum is telling you to search, maybe you should. You have enough time to make a billion threads on the same topic, spend some time searching. Rome wasn't built in a day, and all you're gonna do by having everyong else do your work for you is get a headache; you'll miss and forget keythings- we're not your b1tches

sighs.... I have to agree with Shid here. If you don't have time to research, you have no business doing the swap. It is not for the faint of heart or the uninformed. The same can be said for a 5sfte. Also, the people in this forum WANT to help but they are not going to spend time answering your questions when you have no motivation to also learn on your own.

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

might wanna consider a DIY Turbo kit like the sticky at the top of the engine forums. You can save money and possibly get better parts. LIKE AN INTERCOOLER! Burien is nice - but from 2500 not shipped its kindof expensive. Try the sticky before you do anything.
