I was looking somewhere and saw a celica with a false floor for subs, and they had an "under the floor" shot

i just really looking for shots of how to build up the floor.

yeah i'd really like to know how to do taht also!... also just to get a quote how much would it be to set up a system with a sub and amp... like pretty much the cheapest... i'd need everything... thanks

Do you mean a false floor in which the spare tire well is used for the air-space for the subs and the false floor just lies on top of the trunk floor? Or one where the false floor lies a few inches about the trunk floor?

Either way, it's not too hard of a project...I'm considering putting a sub in the floor of my trunk right now. I've got some pics of false floors(and the processes used to make them) in other cars, but none in sixth generation Celicas. Let me know if you'd like to see them.

the frame is what im wanting to see.

its gotta be raised cause im moving my compressor and valves back there and with the raised floor they can't be seen.

I couldn't find the photos that I was thinking of, but these should be fairly helpful.

I'd first sound-deaden everything in the trunk if it's not already, and then fiberglass the area where the spare tire would be. Then, I'd attach that mold to a MDF board for the rear portion of the install. For the slanted portion, I'd simply make two trianglular-shaped pieces of MDF, and then mount a MDF board on there at an angle for the top. For the bottom one that holds the amp, I'd just use a smaller board that will fit between the two triangle-shaped pieces of MDF.

Hope that makes some kind of sense.

I have thinking of something similar for two 10" subs. My thing is as soon as remove my spare I will need it. do you know what i mean?
