From I-Supra.com BPU- "Basic Performance Upgrade". These modifications are: A full length three inch down-pipe (with or with-out a high flow catalytic converter), 3” (75mm) or bigger cat-back exhaust system, raised boost (18psi), and the required boost cut eliminator (GReddy BCC) needed to achieve that boost without activating the factory fuel cut-off at 14-15psi. the + mean when someone says BPU+ ,And APU. That stands for any additional power producing modifications other than the basic BPU™ modifications. One "+" refers to Adj. Cam Gears and under-drive pulleys, the second "+" refers to a Fuel controller, ECU upgrade, etc. For instance, a Supra with the BPU™ modifications, plus a front-mount intercooler, would be called BPU™+. If you added cam gears to that, it would be BPU™++, and so on. The "BPU™" term is used until you have an upgraded turbo(s). Then it is referred to as APU, advanced performance upgrades. This designation pretty much covers every modification that can be performed. Anthony |

you know in the beginning i hated the TTC but only kept it in that mode because of the benefits that are to be had by doign so and now when i go back to sequential i can't stand it.. i love the supra in TTC now.. there is a little bit of lag but its not that big of a deal.. ppl make to big of a deal about it.. if you have ever ridden in a upgraded single turbo supra and loved it then TTC is for you.. it reacts exactly as a single turbo supra does.. you start spooling at around 2500-3000rpm and hit full boost at about 4000-4500rpm so the lag isn't that bad really.. and when that turbo kicks in TTC you sure do feel it.. it slams you back into the seat.. its great if you are driving a 6spd and doing hwy pulls.. its pretty decent on the street as well.. depending on your boost settings.. i usually keep one of my boost chanels on 10 gain and about 14-15psi for street driving on our sh!ty cali 91 octane but when me and my friends go do some hwy pulls i usually use my other chanel setting of 5 gain and 17psi.. and wait till you hear you exhaust.. it gets louder and deeper.. it sounds meaner in TTC compared to sequential.. sequential is so quiet in comparison.. on the supraforums my screen name is the same.. are you located in the socal area or norcal?
