I looked at the threads about cai's for the gt. The only thing I found out was I need to make one myself. My question is what path s best for the cai and what do I do to make hookups for the hoses and sensors and stuff.

if i can get a camera i'll post some pictures of how i put mine in, and how the fuses were moved. The CAI i got from 95celGT is very nice. It has a very nice sound, and has a narly growl when you step on the gas(especially in 2nd gear). and I can defiantly notice a difference in performance too.

I got one in my car an made it myself. Although it isn't a 3" it is a 2 1\2"
I made it from my friends old Honda Accord CAI. I just bought a new filter. I also had to move the fuse box. well i cant get a picture but look at my page and you can see it. |

Your two options are 1: The path the stock intake takes - through the left fender and into the fenderwhell like 95cel said, and 2: Past the radiator top hose and the cruise control box in your engine bay and down underneath the battery.
I was going to put my filter under the battery in that gap in the engine bay (see pic) but I am too worried about water splashes, and don't really want to chop holes/relocate fuse box, because I wanna be able to put the stock airbox back in when I eventually sell it. ![]() |
