I just recently purchased a 3s-GTE mr2 rear clip for my celica st. it came with a tranny and clutch. the only marking i can find on the tranny is the number "220" if thats not the right number or code where do i find the code at? can i use this tranny? is it an all wheel drive? if it is will it still work? id like to just use this tranny because its already mounted on the engine and because it has alot less miles than the tranny coming off my old engine. thanx

You bought an MR2 clip and you dont know its rear wheel drive? The MR2 tranny is the preferred tranny to use for the swap. Do a search on this board and you will find much information about it. Use the search term "E-153". Hope it helps.

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.
