So yesterday I picked up my new wheels from my buddy Sean. I got an insanely good deal on them and was already setup to meet up with him to pick them up so I couldn't cancel out just because my stuff got stolen. I could sell my old wheels for more than I paid for these anyway. smile.gif

The wheels are 18x8" ALT AT159s, a 15-spoke chrome design. The rubber mounted on them are 225/40-18 Falken Ziex tires all around, with about 30% tread left I'd guess. One wheel has an area where the chrome chipped off from the car rolling off of a U-Haul trailer without the wheels straight, but other than that they're in almost perfect condition. smile.gif

Anyway, here are the photos:

Let me know what you think...I'm thinking about sanding them down and painting them black, black with a chrome lip, or bronze. I'm not too sure if I want to keep them on the car though...they do make the car noticably slower due to their weight, but besides the chrome I like them a lot...I'm not sure on the offset, but the wheels do stick out the sides of the car farther, which I really like. smile.gif

im all for the black chrome look. Although yellow and bronze may clash a bit.

Yeah...and I'm pretty sure that I would screw up...so I'd probably end up going all gloss black or dark gray, or maybe bronze.

Not quite my taste but they look gangsta...lol As for a new look i think the black with the polished lip would be pretty slick.

Wow Christian, those look sick!! Man I love those wheels. Personally, i'd stick with the chrome. Your going to get SO much attention from people about those wheels. I think people need to see them in person, very attractive wheels.

Yeah, the pictures don't do them justice. Maybe tonight I can take some photos at sunset rather than after midnight when it's dark out to show them off a bit better. I didn't even clean them yet either. smile.gif Do you think you'll be in Lynnwood for that all Toyota meet on the 7th? I'll probably still have them on the car and I'm almost positive that I'll be up there for that meet. smile.gif

And yeah, I was in the process of 'glassing the GT-Four vent so that it's smooth and the grill is inset, but had to put the front bumper back on for the meet over the weekend. Maybe tonight if I don't start on my new box for my car I'll pull off the front end and work on it some more. smile.gif

Your joking right? Those are still in the same unwashed state that i sent them out as??? Wow

Not very many of the celica guys like them on my car either. Everywhere i went in the NW though, they were a HUGE hit.
