Couldn't find anything that i like so i went custom. Costed me about $500 in total.
Front lip is a modified type R lip. Looks unbelievable in person. Rear lip is a modified lip for MX5. I am thinking of putting black mesh grills on all holes. What do you think? |

Awsome job! The front in particular looks very clean. You can tell the rear was not made for a Celica.

i love the front...and i don't really like the back. but, mad props for goin custom. we need to see more custom kits and whatnot instead of teh 404, 404a, invader, and c1 knock off.

Personally i wanted the holes in the rear lip bigger so the black mesh grill would be more evident. Basically this was the only kit that seemed to be fitted easily at the time and the holes on the original kit were quite smaller.
In the end, my giberglass guy had some trouble with them as the Celi is wider than the MX5 and Type R and had a lot of trouble modyfying them up to this. Good thing we agreed the price upfront. I will be posting a pic from the side. Its really unbelievable. Even spoilerless, the gt4 is now extremely beatiful. |

i agree the back really doesnt fit the celica... it needs to be a bit wider... but again, you get alot of respect for doing something custom..

looks good. did your fiber guy cut the pieces in half and extend them that way? or add glass to the sides? I think I would prefer the vents being out further, like this:

my glass guy cut and extended the sides. There was also some problem with the curves so he had to split semi-cut them to bend more and fit the celi. You see, i wanted a small front lip because i don't want to hit it all the time. First day on and i hit it twice. Even now i cannot go up and down basements and rumps as the front hits and i can't go backwards on them as the large apex exhaust had to be lowered to fit with the rear lip. |

I don't like either. They both look really flimsy and not meant for a Celica. The GT FOUR front has too many openings in my tastes. But nevertheless, it's a good quality job and I am a big supporter of custom work.

Yes the spoiler will go back on, but also, black mesh grill will be set at the empty space on the rear lip aswell. You have to believe me that they look 100 times better in reality. my camera is really useless.
rims have been on my mind for some time now. I already selected what i am going to get but i am a bit short on cash right now. |

i have to say that it looks awesome and mad props for custom...but i also have to say that i think the back would look a lot better with that rear lip being molded onto the car to take away from some of the extra curves. good job though. cant wait to see it with the spoiler

I think it all looks great. I give you tons of credit for buying the parts and having the guts to cut them up in order to make them fit.
