i am looking for the gr-2's and can't find the entire front strut, i can just find the insert. for those who have the kyb's, did you get the whole front strut, or just the cartridge insert? if you got the whole strut, where? if you had to put in the insert how hard/easy was that? thanks

I just got my order in today and was kindof confused as well, I ordered struts all the way around (kyb) and got a pair of struts and a pair of strut inserts.

The inserts are for the front, really easy to install but disassembly is a bit messy if the old ones were blown. The strut assemblies are for the rear. The whole process is actually pretty easy to do. Good luck with it.

Backs are easier because you don't have to disassemble anything. The link in my sig has some info that might help.

I got the kyb's gr2s and they don't sell struts for the front. The inserts are easy to put on unless you have coilovers and had to grind the bold the closes it. You can use a pipe wrench to turn it and put the new one on. Don't go monroe, suck ass. They won't last if your 6th gen is dropped. My kyb's are great.
