Anyway, I read one of his posts that indicated that the car was VERY unstable at any speed. So, I do believe that if its not done right, you are going to have stability issues, not to mention abnormal tire wear, safety concerns, and ridgity problems that will make our discussion about flex in a convertible sound like a couple of little old ladies worrying about nothing.

Theres only one way to find out if it will work....

I'm not chopping up my ST185 to do it. I just got a ST205 WRC edition engine and tranny to swap in the ST185 (not to mention some cams and other power-aiding mods) and that's how it's going to stand.

Reinforcement of the rear is an obvious issue but I believe if it is done properly, it will not have stability issues.
