Has anyone on 6gc installed the combat front bumper i need pics? and if so where from and were there any problems? Im thinking of parting with my cone replica bumper and getting the combat one. Any help would be thankful.

as far as fitment goes, youre best off getting it from andysautosport although it is probably the most expensive.

It's fiberglass. And I've heard bad things about the kit from Andy's Auto Sport. Tim(boosted_k2) got his Combat front end from them and couldn't even use it because it fit so poorly.

That's why there is "professional" installers..aka people that break the kit and make it fit better,on purpose.

Actually i was the one who bought the combat front off of tim, And it was horrible fit, Fixable (which i did, took a while). I went to 3 shops, including a family owned one and the cheapest i could get it fit was 450 (with paint). I did it myself for a lot cheaper, But i don't recommend it unless you have deep pockets, or good with fiberglass.

So basically you'd only recommend it to rich people or Neverstop.

LMFAO

very nice tongue.gif

naw i do think there are a few people on here handy enough to make it work, i think alot of these kits are hit or miss, ranging from decent to horrible. ive never heard the words "excellent" or "great" or even "good" muttered about this kit lol but its a look you have to put a little extra into to achieve. those that have done it, have some sexy ass celicas, those who have tried and failed or dont feel it is worth the cash/attempt. i understand, and i feel your pain wink.gif

No i just recommend either having a uncle to teach you fiberglass or taking some body shop classes at the local vo-tech. smile.gif If your wanting to learn fiberglassing and how to do body work, I say get it, because you'll learn if your doing it yourself.
