I've been working on my wife's 5th gen and decided to take the whole side view mirror assemblies (brakets and all)off to show you guys. I always notice that when people put 5th gen mirrors on there 6th gen that the mirrors always have an odd angle to them. I think that if you got the brakets too and just switched the whole mirror and braket out(maybe with modifications) that they wouldn't sit at that wierd angle. I could be totally wrong though because I haven't tried it myself.

i think its just the angle from the unibody of the 6gc versus the 5th gen, i bet if you were to shim the top and use longer bolts you could adjust the height.

i have a set i need tp get painted , onyl problem i see with shiimming them is that you cant go vey far out cause thwy wont sis flush with the mounts and you well have a gap
