I was driving my celica gt home tonight, and i looked over (as i was stopped at a stop light), and just saw the most buetiful thing over, the reflection of my car, in the dark, with the lights on in mirrored, tall, pain windows. I'm goign to get my digital camera and go take a couple pics, but anybody else have mirrored picks?

what type of cameras do you guys have? my digi cam totaly freaks out when u turn the flash off. you have to hold it totally still for like 3seconds as it tires to take all the light in, then the pic comes out blurry if you move the camera even a little bit.

Shoot film. It allows you to do such things as cross processing (sig photo, not above one).

SLR, it's not just for Mercedeses anymore.

Typically if you are shooting anything longer than 1/60, you need to have a tripod or else you will get camera shake.

Ja. Right by the beach after it rained. Best time to go shooting.

Wish I had two cars and two drivers, then I could get some motion.

On top of what phaqgm said...

Well there's a lot of info on photography on the internet. But yeah, 1/60 unless you're using a short lens. To get good light and reflections you need a long exposure (> 10 seconds). Which means no flash (or a lot of diffused flashes).

Any digital people out there know the characteristic curve of CCDs versus film? It'll be a big factor if I jump to the D100.

I use an Olympus C4000Z. The key is a tripod, or something to let the camera sit on. And I use the camera's self timer when taking night/evening shots because pressing the button can cause the camera to shake a little bit. smile.gif

http://mdweiss.ods.org/240z/

lots of pictures there

too big to post. they arent that good, i couldnt figure out how to lengthen the exposure time

they are of my wrx and my friends 71 we, which he picked up for $2750 with a dead tranny and we put one in the next day. we got the tranny for $150, resurfaced the flywheel for $40, and got a brand new clutch for $200

guy was originally asking for $6500.

i cant wait till we go to pick up the keys from the guy and show him the car.

also gotta get pics of my car, that z, and my friends z with the turbo swap, next time i will set the camera to longer exposure
