Look up the word "exhaust" in the yellow pages. Call shops that do exhaust work. Ask them if they do custom mandrel bent exhaust work. If they say "yes", tell them the make and model of your car and the size of exhaust you want and ask them how much it would be. If they say no, try another listing in the yellow pages or ask the first person who in the area does mandrel bent exhausts. As a point of reference, my custom 2.5" mandrel bent cat back exhaust was approximately $450. -------------------- QUOTE(lagos @ Jul 10, 2006 - 1:55 PM) i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this. |

a 2.5 crush bend exhaust will in no way restrict flow... our engines (even stock 3s's) cant flow enough air to make a crush bent 2.5 exhaust restrictive. Dont get me wrong mandrel is so damn pretty and it is definately necessary when the mods start stacking on (I have a mandrel 2.5 by the way:D)... but on a stock engine crush bent is in now way going to make you lose any performance.

You can also get premade mandrel bends right off ebay, then you just have to have then welded into the right places. The prices aren't too bad either.

it does help flow alot. and he can bend anything using all stainless steel. everything is made with performance in mind. not ****ty ebay parts. he can make any size you need. hes doing my cage for me and my full exhaust. so pm me if you want any parts made up. he'd love the buisness. its also hella cheaper to get things done custom. and mandrel bent does improve performance. otherwise everything would be crushed. hes also one of the few mandrel benders in the us. but if you come up to our so cal meet you will meet him. opps one more thing. that is just for the tubing. no turbo manifolds. i can talk to him about that for our cars. hes done them on the z, but no celicas yet.
