Will the 4 POT GT4 Calipers and discs fit on other models? SS3's have the same suspension but are they the same hubs? Do they fit on non super strut cars?

the GT4 and SSIII and Euro GT has the same superstrut suspension. Just compare these 2 suspensions and you will find the same parts and etc.

About using Sstrut parts on macpherson, i dont know if this a good idea smile.gif with some $ anything could be done...

What is ssIII ?

Not all Euro GT has Superstrut, just a few.

SSIII is the 3SGE with the 200bhp Beams engine (Red). Superstrut suspension could be the same but the brakes of the GT4 are unique. Their size is twice of all the others and the Celica Logo is on them

I would imagine the actual hubs are completely different, although probably totally swappable. If you get complete front hubs, then it'll porbbaly be a pretty straight foreward conversion... just don't forget the brake master cyclinder and proportioning valve and stuff...

Maybe the hubs are different on the superstrut as they have a balljoint on top of them and two on the bottom to connect them to the super strut. I spose it depends on wether the ssIII have the same calipers and dsics as a GT? If they do then i would imagine a GT4 4 pot would fit on a gt as "ka2" has done it on his SS3.

Not always. Most got the standard 175bhp 3S. A few got the BEAMS lump.

The Four is the most overbraked car I've ever owned. You can never have to much braking power.

325mm 4pots on a standard GT would be very very effective indeed.....

Im gonna keep a look out for a set of calipers and discs, then when i get hold of some im gonna see if i can get them to fit. Gonna have to get some new wheels first though, cause i think you need 16s to clear the calipers and mine still only has the standard 15's.

Yup. 16"s are essential.

My stock 16"s just clear the calipers. Some designs will not.
