haha, my mom told me once that all guys start out like me, and girls like my ex turn them into assholes.

my ex girlfriend and i went on a break, then she got back together with me after a week. after that i wanted to do something special for her, so since when prom came around i didnt have any money to treat her right, i got us a nice hotel room with a nice dinner included, and a jacuzzi suite, candles, flowers, etc.. total was around 500 bucks. we had an amazing night, and 3 days later she broke up with me again, said she wanted to be single, alone, "live her life" cause we were "too serious", what happens a month or two later? she has a new boyfriend

i definitly feel my heart being a little harder than it used to be, but im still a softie.

some guys want sex, just like some girls want sex, if you dont want to be around guys like that, you should probably change some things about yourself to stop attracting guys like that.

thats not a personal attack at you, it just sounds like your lookin for love in all the wrong places.

p.s., some of the things you have said in this thread are quite shallow, although you are probably joking.

i have noticed that shallow girls are shallow but are willing to give guys that dont meet there standards a try.

atleast i have one friend who is like that, on AIM she sounds like super bitch but some of the guys she goes on dates with.. holy crap they need a lot of help.

and girls dont want nice guys, therefore we just kind of sit back and be the shoulders to cry on or the advice guy.

of course every once in a while that one will come a long.

the reason i dont mind being a nice guy is when i find a girl it means much more than just sex, and i have a great time with her.

i wouldnt give up meaningful relationships for random flings for all the money in the world

ok well alot of Halo people are more normal than the weird people i have met at lan tournaments for cs. thank god i stopped playing, but nOOO they have to make CS:Source which has made me start playing again. BAH

Dont get me wrong when it comes down to it im still a guy but im a bit sappy and a bit romantic but on the dorky side.

It seems there are just as many girls out there just looking for just action as there are guys. Where are all of the females that want to spend time and talk.

oh my goodness people, Alot of women(not all) like the "bad guy" because they think that there is something special about themselves that would make this bad guy be good to them. After a while into the relationship the women don't want to get out of the relationship because they've put too much time and effort into making this "bad guy" good. "Nice guys" will usually ask a woman what she would like to do that day, whereas the "bad guy" will say hey,this is what we are doing today. When the "nice guy" ask her what she wants to do,this make her feel the bourden of whether or not that day will go well or not (if it sucks she will feel it was her fault because it was what she wanted to do). blah blah blah

I was a nice guy. I married the girl I had loved all through high school, she got me to quit smoking dope, having female friends and everything else that she considered bad which included porn. I quit all those things because I wanted her to be happy. When we got married I bought her everything she asked for which included an alltrac celica. When she quit her job because it was too hard,I said " thats ok,I'll just get a part time job to cover all the bills". I did everything I could to make her happy, the whole time forgeting what made me happy. She would always tell me that I was such a nice guy to her. Well... not to long ago I got a call at work,it was about my wife and that she had been in a car wreck(the alltrac). I went to the hospital to find the police waitng there for me. They told me about the wreck and the her and the guy she was with was fine,but that they needed to take a blood test to see if she had been under the influence , because they found a small bag of marriquana in the car. When I took her home from the hospital I asked her about everything I had just found. She told me that the guy was just someone she was giving a ride home because he was broke down and that she didn't know that he had any drugs on hims. She said "I got you to stop doing drugs, how could you think that I was doing them". With that said I believed her. Later that week I got a call from the tow yard to pick up anything that I wanted out of the car. I went and got everything that I thought was worth keeping out of the car,except I ran across a really nice digital camcorder that I knew wasn't mine. When I got home I hooked the camcorder up to the tv, I couldn't believe what I was seeing, It was my wife,her friends and the guy she said she didn't know smoking pot out of a bong and doing stupid stuff for the camera. I was pissed ..And then there it was, they were having sex, and she was doing things with him that she always got mad at me wanting to do. Now the girl I loved so much and was being so nice to is now my soon to be ex-wife. So, the moral of my story is DON"T buy your girlfriend or wife an alltrac.
