That sucks. I have broken my arms so many times, one time from skiing. I was racing my dad and didn't see a pile of snow at the bottom because it was dark and they didn't have any lights on that part of the hill. I broke both bones in my wrist and they bent upwards. Good luck and don't ich to much

Gilbert, was this the first time you went out for THIS season? That would suck if it was and this had to happen. Hope your wrist isn't that messed up.
I can't wait to go boarding also. Going to Boyne Mtn. Dec. 11th, then the following wknd after. haha I'm stoked...can't wait to use my new bindings, boots, pants. lol Oh and use my NEW board bag! haha Hey what's the snowboarding/skiing condtions as far as weather goes in the Cali? Like here in MI it's usually 30 degrees or <30 degrees for our season. |

I went snowboarding as well. I hit an ice sheet in the shade and tried to stop. I tried to slow down facing down the slope and finaly dug in when i wasnt expecting and flew face first down the hill. My boys asked if I had taken a fall. I said no and they all started laughing. Come to find out, the whole time my face felt warm was bacause I had thrashed my chin pretty badly. I had a huge scab from the fall for a week.

well yhis was my second time going..the start of many times... this sucks cuz i was suppose to go all weekend too went to the doctors today to get my cast..saw the xrays nice crack on the top part of my wrist...i get it off dec 29...soo 4 weeks suck but ill still have jan,feb to finish the season... it was like low 20 degrees and high 20...less then 30 all day...cause snow blowing was going on all day.. the mountain is really good right now only bad is that there was soo much ice...sometime me and my friends would slip out on landings and slide like 100 feet without being able to get up cause of ice... funny when i tell people the story and their like snow doesnt hurt.....hmm snow and ice both hurt like no other...fresh powder is like falling on air other then that...whoa painfull |
