how much are these "import" costs? Already we're looking at $3250 worth of orders here. How much more of a profit does chrisc have to make before He does this? Dont get me wrong I love chris... i was the first buyer of his splitters and I would do it over again any day... I'm just trying to understand how much he's looking at making before he can hook us up.

it has nothing to do with chris making money.
when chris sends out a set of extentions, or even the 3 peice wing, he sends it to us classified as a "gift"
that way, theres not customs holdups or anything.
he cant send the skirts this way because theyre too long.
he has to ship them all at once, and thru customs and all that stuff.
when it gets to the dock here, we have to pay "import fees& taxes ect." the estimate i last got from chris on that was over 2k.
im really just as confused about most of this as your guys are, i've never delt with anything being imported like this.
all chris is gonna make on these is 150$ per set. im not looking to make anything from this either. all i wanted to do right from the get go was get a set for me.
i dont think you guys get what is involved with getting these here and to you guys,
its not just throw them in a box that says USA and bam, theyre at your door..lol chris has to pack them all together and ship them to the dock, then i have to more than likely drive to NY and pick them up, unpack them,inspect them, figure out where and how im gonna get the materials to pack them, individually package each set and send them to you.
and sorry, im not rich, i cannot afford to pay for all the costs involved with doing all that.
if anyone else here has experience dealing with all this, and has a better way, feel free to step up and take over, cuz quite honestly, i really dont wanna do it.

Hey everyone, people need to get in on this asap. I will add my name here very soon as i've got the money to buy them now but need to get paid. Come on this is the ONLY way we can get these badass skirts. Come on!!!

Why don't you just pay him to make and ship the mold then build them here. Would that work or is customs still going to be a problem? I wouldn't think so since it's a lot smaller package. Just a thought. Tell me if it's dumb.

guys,...sorry but im gonna back out of this, i REALLY dont wanna run this thing. i dont want to be the one held responsible if anyone gets broken parts, and i really dont have the time or the resorses to get the materials needed to ship them once we do get them.
