there is really no cheap way to do it. n2o is an option, but not really safe unless you spend a lot and do it right.
a good free thing to do is weight reduction. clean out the car, ditch the spare tire, rear seats, interrior, etc. -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned

QUOTE(Mr_E @ Dec 5, 2004 - 10:28 AM) Add lightness. ^^ wait a minute that doesn't make sense! Some Ricers would say add some stickers..they add 10 hp each. Intake, header and exhaust is my input on this, they will each help in their own little way. This post has been edited by Anub1s: Dec 5, 2004 - 9:16 AM |

Classic line from the late great Colin Chapman. Why go to all the effort of a huge engine and massive brakes. The lighter the car, the less power you need. So it's even lighter. Then you can ditch the huge brakes. So it's even lighter. So you lose the power steering....... Add lightness. Which is rich coming from me considering what I drive. -------------------- JDM ST205

IMO... weight reduction isn't as important for accleration as is power. Weight reduction is great for agility and handling... and anything with less weight will require less power to move... but without more power... less weight is not gonna make a big difference as far as acceleration goes.

fill your car with helium(or better hydrogen balloons) easier than weight reduction.
