So yea, I need more ram, and I need DDR ram. Where do I need to look to find some? Right now I have 256mb, and when I am running three ANTI-virus/anti-tracking programs, downloading from three or four different places, and typing on the web, you REALLY feel the effects.

Didn't Andason have some ram for sale...

Hook me up guys. smile.gif

BE sure that the ram you get is compatible with your motherboard, not all brands work together, and also if you want the best resutsl even out the ram load on each dinn on you mother board, I mean if you have 3 slots for ram, the first 2 are on the same chennel and the 3rd has its own, so if you get (2) 1 gig peaces put 1 in slot 1 and the other in slot 3.

Side note: I have always been a fan of kingston, they make good stuff and low prices, plus it has a lifetime worrentee (and they hounor it too) that is worth more then the cost of the ram right there.

I need DDR... This is a burn and rip computer for the most part. 4X dvd burner, DVD drive (I forget the speed), 2.5gig intel pentium reject...wink.gif, and the shameful 256 meg DDR ram... the thing is, I can't find my motherboard manual to see how fast i can get it. Right now I have two slots open... I need at least 512... a gig would be nice though. smile.gif

His mobo has to support dual channel, and assuming its an older computer it probably doesnt.

I got 2 of these and I love em!

Sorry but I bought that...
Ram is very easy to find. Just make sure that it is compatible with your system. You should be able to find what kind of ram you need in your manual.

Looks awesome, but I think it would be bottlenecked by the rest of his system.
