Well I got my stuff so now all I have to do is build my exterior case. I got a sheet of heavy plexi glass to do it, I also got a little 2 dollar tupper ware thing to possibly make a submerged pump reservoir with. Ill post pics in the process and when complete.

Way to much ;\ ended up around $300 with all the building supplies, I didnt expect to spend 70$ at lowes today. Initially I wanted to spend around 100, then it was 200, then 250 and so on.

But I didnt cut any corners on the quality of stuff I bought, and there were a few things I could have saved money on but it was just to convenient.

Nice pile of stuff you got there, gata love the crome paint.

so our doing a custom water cooled system, I would be very careful in the construction, a proper seal is (as you know) extreamy important.

How do you plan on cooling the water, if you use just a tupper where container, wile it will work fine, you will need to find a way to cool it, so that after the water has suculated though the system, it will be hot, you dont wana pump it right back into the system.

ps: be sure to post pics of it when its done, I wana see it!!

Well I started building my water cooling setup today, Im going external on account of my case being far to small. So anyways got my stuff cut tonight on the table saw and it looks pretty tight dimension wise. heres some pics.

So tonight Im going to figure out where all the holes are going and hit the drill press and scroll saw tomorrow. I wouldn't be suprised if its assembled by tomorrow night.

Theres a a fan controller thats going to be mounted in the front so there will be very little wasted space in the case.

Cracker, those are the most awesomest feet I've ever seen next to a half-done water-cooled case.

Will you build a meth lab with your left over materials?

Thanks man! Ya I did alot of reading of at overclockers.com in the forums and there reviews page, so I got basically the best of everything for my price range. Oh and its a magdrive 350, I think its been dubbed the mag3 on the overclockers forums.

Its gonna look wicked once the wapping is off the plexi glass, and its all setup, the fan controller going into it gives off alot of light so it'll look sweet.

Well numbers wise Im not looking for much more out of my processor, I only have a heat sink on my NB which from what Ive read is probably good enough, so Ill see what it can take and post some numbers.

The x800 on the other hand is going to be around 600/600, from the stock 475/445. I can run it at 550/550 fine with stock cooling so Im sure pushing it a bit more won't hurt with alot better cooling. Im hoping to get my frame rate up on newer games with max graphics, it drops into the late 20's once in a while which I dont like wink.gif

What kind of processor is it? Regardless you should keep check on the temp assuming your motherboard has some kind of temp sensor. For newer chips anyways a broken fan is a death sentance.

did you by chance pick up an x800 pro vivo cause if so you can flash your bios with some other software and have a xt pe with 16 pipelines instead of the 12 pipelines your pushing right now.
